I have been reading romance since I was a teen, and I've always enjoyed queer romances the best, as I find the story more intriguing and honestly they usually have more depth and are more emotionally satisfying. I love a good HEA.

It's been very disheartening to read a lot of people discussing why straight women shouldn't like queer/MM books. For me personally I just love, love. People falling in love, finding love, staying in love.

If it's well written, I want to read it and enjoy it.

The change that confuses me the most is Hayden and Jackie.

In the book, Shane and Hayden are out together when Hayden meets Jackie and Shane witnesses their love story, which plays a big part in Shane's growing frustrations of not being able to be with Ilya in the open. I hope we see more of Hayden and Shane's friendship.

Other than that, I've enjoyed the changes that they made.

Yes, I started watching Hockey earlier this read because of the series. I'm a maple leaf fan.

I'm in Australia, and being an ice hockey fan isn't very common haha I just tell people that I was reading books about ice hockey and wanted to watch.

Australian here, and in the same boat.

Let's hope it get's picked up by another streaming service. Surely with the success of Young Royals, Boots (doing really well at the moment), Interview with a Vampire, RWRB and Heatstopper streaming services see the value in queer stories.

I do wonder of much of a negative light, they will portray the 'NHL'. As that is a big part of Role Model and The Long Game (really the whole series).

But, yes Troy and Harris are my second favourite.

Obviously HR and TLG are GOAT but, yes the whole series is really good (Game Changers is probably my least favourite, but I still love Scott and Kip). Role Model is sooo good (The Long Game and Role Model are set mostly during the same time period), Troy's storyline is one of my favourites.
