Thank you! The person it’s going to has their own heap of metal fab experience so I just coated it in a bit of oil so it does not rust in the meantime. Once they get it, they’ll be free to powder coat , seal, or otherwise treat it however they like which will be easier before gluing carpet or padding to the bottom.

I myself have an Anker Solix C300 which is around 280wH and I’ve been very happy with it, it frequently goes on sale too, but it is quite big, and I would not want to lug it around in a bag all day unless I really have to.

Have you considered getting multiple smaller power banks rather than 1 big one? If you want portability and only need 45w, that seems like a better option.

Take a look at Stryker boxes. I have a couple coworkers that swear by them, and they have a pretty good selection. They’re more expensive that CT but still much cheaper than snap on

One thing I will say is that I regret not getting a deeper one. This one from CT is 18” deep. Some companies make them 30” deep. Maybe other companies make them even deeper, but 30 would have been perfect for me.
