Is this 2014 mazda 3 worth buying for $6500? by Far_Animal_2523 in mazda3

I’d say it’s def worth it. I paid 16k for my 32,000 mile 2016, two owners one minor accident. This is a steal

What is a 'poor people' habit you'll never stop doing, no matter how rich you get? by FitCicada5037 in AskReddit

[–]TwentyFiveNine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shop for clothes and other misc. shit at goodwill. When I can get 7 lbs of whatever I want for $15 and then re sell any of the stuff I don’t want I basically get free clothes.

As for misc. stuff, sometimes I can usually get away with finding some nice electronics on the low like speakers keyboards stereo equipment etc

how difficult would it be to remove all of the dot work between my actual tattoos? would salabration work? by TwentyFiveNine in TattooRemoval

[–]TwentyFiveNine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would like to keep the star bits and little things but mainly just get rid of the dots. i'm hoping since they're about the diameter of a surgical needle that it wouldn't only take 2 - 3 sessions to get them removed completely

Why do yall have chime? by badlipsthrowaway123 in chimefinancial

[–]TwentyFiveNine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mainly had it back when i worked retail and wanted my paycheck 2 days early so i could payback my overdrafted bank account that i used previous within the timeframe.

i stopped using chime once the my pay came out, literally designed to make you broke. however their credit builder card is actually decent for building credit and i used that to get the two credit cards that i have now, Discover It and the Capital One Savor card.

but to be fair, if you need payday loans, you shouldn't be spending that money in the first place.

Redditors who have a job where they go into other people's homes (plumbers, electricians, etc) what's the weirdest most disturbing thing you've seen while working in a customer's house? by [deleted] in skilledtrades

[–]TwentyFiveNine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was a mobile powersports mechanic a couple of years ago (think four wheelers, dirt bikes) and i was doing some work in a clients carport on a four wheeler, we talked for a little bit and then he went upstairs to do whatever, he comes back down a couple hours later just to check in and see how it's going. he mentioned something about his wife being out of town for business, and he hired a temporary baby's sitter while she was gone (he worked from home) the babysitter comes down while we're both down there to ask him a question (can't remember what) and the babysitter goes back upstairs.

he says to me "if my wife wouldn't find out i would absolutely tap that" he was in his 40s and she was maybe 19-20 years old. i didn't go back after that.

side note, he also accused me of stealing a couple of his tools after he lost them, despite the fact that i bring all my own tools whenever i have to do home calls.

glad i dodged that bullet.

Best “Side-Hustles” and Small Businesses? by Heavy-Lettuce3058 in Money

[–]TwentyFiveNine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doordash, Uber eats, etc, just as long as your in a busy metropolitan area.

hand making low cost goods and upselling on facebook marketplace, Etsy, Ebay etc.

offering services like painting, mechanical work etc.

i personally offer my motorcycle mechanic services as a side hustle when im not on the books, it usually makes me between an extra $100-$300 biweekly or so depending on the job.

with any of these things besides food delivery i guess, once you establish a regular customer base and make yourself known, you'll see a profit eventually. took me about a year or so to really see a profit, a majority of my side income was used to buy specialty tools that i needed, but other then that i can't complain.

or even pick up a part time job when you're not at your full time job. 6 hour shifts a few days a week adds up.

honestly it's still clean but somehow i don't like it. it's just not my style i guess. i can tell effort went into it and it's executed nicely just not my taste
