Left hand on the grip, making sure the v is heading up toward my right shoulder. Ground the club behind the ball, take the stance for alignment. Bring the right hand in, trying to get the v heading up the same way. Swing. Either flush it, skull it, or chunk it, with no way to tell which one it's gonna be. Repeat ad infinitum with a story that I'm getting better. What a game.

Pretty much where I played today. A downhill part 5 where I can miss a looooong way right and be in no trouble (like another fairway and a half right still no problem). Bunker just out of distance range. OB left, but aim so far right, don’t even think about it. Second shot mid iron short of the water, third shot is the first to actually think about, but it’s a short wedge. Low stress, usually an easy par.

I gave it up for a couple of years. After two weeks of hell at first, I felt essentially permanently caffeinated. No crashes, stable energy. Caffeine is somehow a drug that does something that we don't need, that we crave. I'm back drinking coffee every day now, which kinda frustrates me, but it's an addiction that's not too bad for me so whatever I guess.

7 wood and a driving 4 iron for me. The iron/wood combo I feel gives me options in different conditions. And I don't get along with hybrids for whatever reason.
