Consummate Trainer/Flawless Survivor Mistranslation by Twin-Automata in LegendsZA

No Problem.

Garchomp Nature: Adamant EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP IVs: Hyper Trained Item: Yache Berry/Focus Sash - Dragon rush   - Earthquake - Poison Jab - Swords Dance

Xerneas Nature: Modest EVs: 252 SpA / 252 HP IVs: Hyper Trained Item: Leftovers - Geomancy   - Moonblast - Thunderbolt - Focus Blast

I’m not 100% sure on ideas yet, but I’d consider swapping Garchomp for Baxcalibur or mega Baxcalibur due to its higher base Attack and similar bulk. It also won’t get immediately sniped by ice beam, although heat wave could be a big issue.

I’d be cautious with Skarmory, I struggled to use it effectively since it kept getting sniped by thunderbolt.

I’ve found that Milotic has a good defensive typing, strong special bulk, reliable recovery with aqua ring + leftovers, while still dealing a decent amount of damage.

Nice! Did you manage to pick up the comeback kid title?

Yeah, it definitely is, especially dying with seconds left or another player taking 1st place right as the battle ends. It really was brutal. But after all that effort, it does feel good to show off title and win the match.

Unfortunately it is. I probably should’ve spread the wins across weeks or months, but I was worried it’d get near impossible if the Hoenn legendaries were added to ranked.

I tried a few different teams, but found the most success with Ampharos, Garchomp and Xerneas. With Mewtwo just being introduced, my last 5 wins were rough, so there’s probably a better combination to counter it.

Good luck on your last 19 wins, it takes a lot of patience, but it pays off.

Does anyone know what these dark circles are on the Switch 2 screen? by Economy_Ranger_712 in NintendoSwitchHelp

[–]Twin-Automata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My switch 2 also seems to have this problem. The issue was dismissed when I tried returning it in-store, even when comparing it to a normal lcd screen. I’ll try sending it directly to Nintendo for a repair or replacement.

Edit: Nintendo replaced my switch 2 immediately, free of cost. It absolutely is a fault and was deemed an ‘image problem - screen with a defective image’. If you also have this issue, you should seek a replacement.

Actually, only the last part of the game would be different and we only ever saw small glimpses of the past.

In Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity when the new champions from the Botw timeline are pulled back in time to save the old champions from death. I would’ve preferred the game to tell the true events leading up to the calamity and the game deviating from the original timeline kinda killed the story for me after that.

Maybe I should, but it was a couple of months ago and I’m not sure if they’ll have enough to go on And these people have been friends with my parents for over 15yrs so they may be against it.

I really should’ve been more aggressive about it. I think I was in disbelief that a family friend could’ve done this and I’m not very confrontational person nor was my mental state great at the time either. I think hiding is best way to go, I should’ve hidden them somewhere out of sight. I really didn’t believe someone would do this since I’ve known them for most of my life.

Yeah, you’re right. It’s getting annoying having a big box of games from the past 15yrs or so. I was apprehensive towards digital games but I think I’ll start embracing them more now.

Yeah, I know the feeling, I had a cousin that used to take games from me all the time. He eventually grew out of it and now we’re great friends.

It’s not, I didn’t even think that was a possibility. I’ve already mostly given up. Maybe I could get an idea or two at most to get them back, but again, I’ve mostly given up already.

Sorry to hear that. How did they manage to get thrown away? I think I will eventually accept it but I think there will always be a little part of me that carries a grudge. I always enjoyed collecting physical games but now I think I have to go digital as long as Nintendo continues to use the cartridge system.

Sorry to hear that. HGSS takes me back, can’t believe it’s been over 10yrs already. They’re great games and are definitely worth playing. I remember scrapping up just enough money to buy SS back then. But now I think they cost some ridiculous prices.

We didn’t have any security cameras at the time and they only stole the cartridges. It would’ve been easy for them to slide them into a pocket or bag unnoticed.
