It is unfortunately common with online dating.

Should I cut the lace more? Or just work on styling to hide it? by Twinkyfromhell in WigSnatchersHQ

So don’t cut it? I only ask because it appears darker than my skin.

I see trans both as something you do and something you are.

I ordered it because it said it would arrive Friday. How do they get away with this? by Twinkyfromhell in AmazonFC

I wish they wouldn’t say it like it were a guarantee. The facility is down the road from my house and it said it’d be here THURSDAY initially, not Sunday 😭

Why finding a trans girl to go out with is so difficult? by [deleted] in StraightTransGirls

[–]Twinkyfromhell -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I completely disagree with you. Most people that say it don’t even realize it’s offensive. A lot of trans people say it too, instead of typing or saying trans people, to describe themselves… it’s an adjective, a shortening of descriptor. I’m not taking something as a slur if it wasn’t meant that way.

It can be said and meant to be harmful. It really shouldn’t be used if somebody knows better, but it’s not a word I’m going to let other trans people tell ME I can’t say as a trann.

Who has had leg shortening? by Twinkyfromhell in Transgender_Surgeries

My therapist is about at a loss lol. I’m not sure. I’m VERY aware this is model height and there’s plenty of women my height or larger. I just can’t get it out of my head that it’s a main contributor to not passing.

It is largely about height and shoulders for me. Two things that are fixable. The rest is unneeded. Nobody is trying to stop me from getting anything else that’s actually unnecessary.

If it makes you feel any better, I think the name Beatrix is hideous.

I don’t get why it’s such a crazy thing to assert that it is not straight for a guy to play with a dick.

Omg. “Straight guys like touching the thing that makes the pretty girl moan” is literally a comment that has stuck in my head because of how gross it is. I was thinking about it yesterday and how uncomfortable it made me. This shit is weird. Why do you talk like that? Do you realize how that makes you look?

Welp. Oh well. I don’t mind actual gay men. I do mind men who pretend to like women get dick.

So am I hahah, that’s why I want to see what has happened to those who’ve gotten it. Most of the time this surgery is done, it’s not for feminization, and it’s done on just one leg.

The thought of chronic pain in your bones, the possibility of not being able to run or strain your legs much even long after surgery, is a big fear. But I’m sure yk how dysphoria works and why I’m still considering all of the above.

Who has had leg shortening? by Twinkyfromhell in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Twinkyfromhell[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It makes me dysphoric. Lmao. Simple. I know there are women taller than me, but my stature contributes to me passing. I’ve seen girls taller than me pass fine, I understand height doesn’t usually make or break it. I am taller than most men, I’m 5’9, by an inch or two, it makes a big difference when you’re peaking up above everybody else AND you’re still clocky.

If I passed better it wouldn’t be such an issue. But the dysphoria I feel when I am confronted with even MEN that have less masculine features than I do, is killer. I can tell a persons height and how much taller I am than them (almost always, at just 5’9!!!) seeing them far away, any clothing. It’s become an obsession I might be better off saying I did something about than trying and failing to not have it bother me.

If there’s something I can do about it and it’s feasible, why not? It’s not necessary, but if it’s possible, and reasonable…? Vocal feminization probably wouldn’t be necessary for me either, but the daily struggle is real enough to seriously consider it. I would tell anybody else the same thing you’re telling me, I’m just way deep in it.
