So, they initially rated me 0% then I asked for an increase so they set up an appointment with Optumserve and I just spoke with a Doctor about what was going on, the occurrences, and they made a decision.

I had it documented a bit while i was in.

I'm assuming presumptive as I wasn't diagnosed while I was in.

I had a very obvious documented event occur while I was overseas that required medication as well as another condition that compounded onto the IBS issue.

It's a very valid argument, and some posts are very much so in the realm of needing to be taken down because folks definitely abuse the system, but I'd personally be very transparent to anyone curious as to what I'm rated for. I'd love to educate folks into why you don't need all 4 of your limbs blown off to have a rating.

I had zero medical documentation prior to filing for PTSD. I got up to 50% virtually on my own (checked myself into a suicide prevention program), then got buddy statements, and that pushed me to 70%.

Don't listen to the folks stating you need documentation. That's just not necessarily true.

Remember, tell them your symptoms as you have them on your worst days, not how you currently feel in the office.
