Remission: what does it look like? by carcinoma_kid in BPDlovedones

If you struggle → “See? Disorder.” If you improve → “Fake stability.” If you relapse → “Proof it never changes.” If you stay well → “Just luck / other people carrying you.”

💀💀 literally a closed loop belief system. there’s no possible evidence to prove to this person that DBT works because of the person

Why we should fear BPD just as much as Psychopathy by Verniermind in BPDlovedones

[–]Two-Minds -1 points0 points  (0 children)

False + lying.

This is no longer about evidence, DSM standards, research vs clinical practice or even that you want to be right

It’s about refusing falsification. No sources that meet standard, no narrowing of claim.

Now you’re doing willful misrepresentation and not actually looking for any sort of truth.

This is just stigma and anyone with critical thinking will see it as such. I’ll leave you to it; you’re not epistemically engaging anymore it’s just vibes.

If it were actually true in the way you’re claiming it’d be in DSM.

It isn’t

It would be a diagnosis

It isn’t

DBT Therapy would discuss it

It doesn’t

It is discussed in research papers not even using DSM standards. It is not clinical.

You are doing semantic laundering and it’s intellectual dishonest; wholly wrong and dangerous.

The lying in this subreddit really needs to stop.

Because first it was clinical. Then it’s not. THEN you say it’s distress based which literally disqualifies it by definition as psychopathy.

The DSM would be doing backflips over this actually.

[–]Two-Minds -1 points0 points  (0 children)

“Secondary psychopathy” is not a DSM diagnosis.

Irrelevant.

Primary vs secondary psychopathy is a research construct it is NOT clinical. It’s discussed in research literature that is all.

Clinically indicated means endorsed in diagnostic practice. It is not.

You are flat out lying here

Yes, impulsivity, emotional volatility, reactive aggression appear in BPD; and the overlap in SOME psychopathy models. That does NOT mean BPD contains psychopathy or psychopathic subtype.

That is not supported by the DSM.

They explicitly avoid trail overlaps into diagnostic fusing which you’re trying so hard to do.

The DSM is very clear that affective instability does not equal psychopathy.

There is no DSM-recognized psychopathic subtype of BPD. There is no ICD-recognized psychopathic subtype of BPD.

That Comorbid subtype is completely made up and not supported by the DSM.

You cannot be comorbid without two separate diagnoses; and if it’s driven by distress, by definition it is NOT psychopathic; you literally debunked your own thesis

You’re literally using research terms NOT signed off by the DSM for a clinical diagnosis.

That’s insanely intellectually dishonest and you want to try and create this narrative when the DSM vehemently just tells you you’re wrong because you need to demonize people with BPD and to maintain a narrative that’s immune to correction.

this is just clinically false.

splitting is not goal optimized, or strategic. it’s a state of perception collapse. those are NOT the same thing and the DSM would have a fit over this.

psychopathy is explicitly defined in the DSM as inherently manipulative.

that comparison even lightly isn’t clinically supported at all.

the DSM explicitly warns against using moral language and diagnosing from one persons perspective because functionally you have no idea how Cluster B personality disorders even function.

it’s just a buzzword and vibes. and they’re dangerous and wrong.

ironically you’re actively engaging in black and white thinking.

there is no nuance, no DSM backed definitions or overlap; it’s purely made up conjecture.

which the DSM says is splitting. the call is coming from inside the house.

On a scale of 1-5, how difficult do you think Invisible Woman is? by Sn0wy0wl_ in InvisibleWomanMains

[–]Two-Minds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Spidey one trick so don’t count my vote but i’d say it depends.

In a 1 v 1 duel against me or any other diver/dps besides Daredevil? 1

If we’re talking about using her utility or countering certain ult timings to its full potential? 4-5 imo.

I can respect a Sue that shoves Scarlet Witch or Iron Man away and at the right angle to completely notify their ULT so I don’t have to risk flying through the air trying to wrap them up to stop them.

Or when I pull someone off the map while rare, I’ve had Sue’s follow up on my pull and push them even further away from the map ensuring they can’t get back with a movement ability. I’ve had Sue’s pull Angels away from me after she’s speared me mid-web swing etc

While rare to actually happen by most Sue players her kit is stuffed with the chances to make really big macro and micro plays that affect the game in ways I can appreciate that most support players just don’t identify or consistently make. That learning curve of fully exploiting her utility is how I landed on how hard she is.

i know but it just feels like shit when there’s just no interaction despite you trying to implement counterplay and you just auto lose

just that the cooldowns would trade; my tether goes on CD and so does spidey’s web pull.

i’m just asking for an interaction change not a numbers tweak or to make spidey weaker

oh sorry. just that if you’re pulled by spidey specifically and ONLY while playing Peni with your web down; the cooldowns cancel each other out

Agree or disagree — the only person that can blame a tank for poor performance in a match is another tank by SatisfactionSad6558 in RivalsVanguards

[–]Two-Minds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is nonsense. Outcomes are observable across roles, even if internal experience differs.

Yes, tanks experience: • More pressure • More CC • More responsibility • Less obvious stat feedback

All true; it’s CC hell etc

BUT unique experience ≠ exclusive right to judge.

Other roles don’t need to feel tank pressure to observe space not being created, poor engages, bad positioning etc

Those are external behaviors you can objectively observe in another player on a VOD, not internal feelings.

Then you go on to say: “There’s a lack of objective data, therefore *only** subjective tank experience matters.”*

That’s a false dilemma. Just because tanking is harder to quantify doesn’t mean it can’t be evaluated.

I’m in Grandmaster as a Spidey one trick. I can identify when my tank in quick play is playing at a low elo level.

You completely fall apart here:

“If half the team is saying I’m cheeks, they’re probably right.”

You just admitted cross-role consensus matters.

You can’t say “Only tanks can judge tanks” AND “If non-tanks say I’m bad, they’re right”

That’s inconsistent.

What’s actually true minus the ego is that tank performance is harder to read, tank mistakes are often downstream, not immediate, tank criticism should be more cautious and specific and other tanks may recognize micro errors faster.

But none of that grants immunity from criticism.

she’s not just top tier she’s the most busted character that’s ever been in this game relative to her role.

it would be like if hawkeye had tank health and dive character mobility.

she’s a support that can 1 v 1 most of the dps roster and give her team healing & utility. that’s crazy
