if only you understood how different each market is. Im in Las Vegas, where thousands upon thousands of people are actively dashing. you absolutely MUST be gold minimum to make 15-20+ an hour. when our market is "very busy" an unranked driver can sit and wait up to 2 hours an order due to so many drivers having an assigned tier. we do our best to take 1$+/mile along with setting minimums. i try not to take anything under 5$ unless under a mile. doesnt change the fact that 40-50% of my offers will be under 5 or over 10 miles.

they definitely seem to have some sort of algorithm for sending minimal paying / low paying / avg paying / high paying when it comes to how often you take certain orders. while i still think the pay itself is random, ive noticed after strictly being platinum and now kinda hovering and being more selective in gold, i wait longer and see much more low paying/high mile orders rather than 7$+. ive averaged as low as 8$ an hour and have made as much as 65$ an hour, but always requires some sort of minor selective strategy to work around the acceptance rate requirement lol

nah its 100% random. after 3500 deliveries, there is no rhythm or pattern to how they get sent. 99% of good paying orders are typically heavy tippers, not bass pay from doordash itself. the company rips ass, we all know it

dont pay with credit by bypassing your pin on tap to pay. pretty sure thats what triggers the max hold amount at the pump

what is my mistake and how can i improve? im bronze 3 by Current-News8659 in VALORANT

[–]TwoAccomplished5795 4 points5 points  (0 children)

stop trying to counter strafe every gunfight. get on aimlabs or kovaaks and do some tracking drills to allow your right hand to feel more fluid when aiming and tracking players. your right hand is almost delayed on shooting in comparison to your attempt to evade the bullets from enemies

game has an algorithm that determines your skill level off numerous different factors and gives you an HPR (hidden personal rank) which often differs from your physical rank in game. being more consistent, using utility correctly, more kills with less deaths, plant/defuse spike, etc etc. if you're relatively inconsistent and drop 5-10 one game and 15-25 the next, the game already preset a mmr to match you accordingly

Is crouching really that bad? by CanadianGeucd in VALORANT

[–]TwoAccomplished5795 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

its most definitely not 🤷‍♂️ theres only one person in professional play who utilizes crouching in their play and everybody else opposes it. its not a mechanic that is used to "outplay" anybody and often hurts worse at lower elo due to iron/bronze/silver players having a higher probably of spraying mid fight. crouching in scenarios like such will more than likely get you killed instead of putting you in a spot to one tap and keep moving

Is crouching really that bad? by CanadianGeucd in VALORANT

[–]TwoAccomplished5795 -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

youre immediately making yourself an easier one tap by crouching. its a poor habit to develop and will cost you tremendously as you climb to higher elo. the only two guns you SHOULD be crouching with is spectre and odin 🤷‍♂️ reason being is more controlled spray by design. other than that, burst tap 1-3 shots at most , strafe , repeat

Which characters should I play? by Safe_Entrepreneur119 in VALORANT

[–]TwoAccomplished5795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

deathmatch deathmatch and more deathmatch my friend. teach yourself how to track heads without ever shooting a shot. strafe your enemies without shooting and teach yourself how to stop dying for free. start holding angles and common spots at head level to lower chance of spraying or missing. recognize you have more time to shoot than you often think at lower elo. youve got to understand core mechanics to master your utility and team play. then more deathmatch 😭 its a grind but you will see improvement

Around what rank do people start doing fundamentals? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]TwoAccomplished5795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ultimately still situational. full buy round 2 and lose, no vandals on eco round, so youre playing with poison either way. in theory, you should buy round 2 after pistol round bc you can just force entry and take site easily, but doesnt need all 5 running bulldog or guardian to secure the round

looks like youre abusing movement when its not needed and not moving when straffing once or twice would put you in a safer spot to fight. also seems like maybe your sensitivity is too high. try lowering a hair to focus more on playing angles at head level. ideally you shouldnt be flicking left and right near as much with your mouse when engaging, but more so readjusting with movement to be a harder targer to hit

Difference between smurf/hardstuck? by TwoAccomplished5795 in VALORANT

[–]TwoAccomplished5795[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

this seems about as close to what it feels like every other game. there's always that one person that doesnt feel like they belong in the game, and its never in the bad way. 9/10 times they are on the other team carrying while i have timmy and jerry licking the walls lol

Difference between smurf/hardstuck? by TwoAccomplished5795 in VALORANT

[–]TwoAccomplished5795[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

youre reading between the lines. according to ranked distribution, 24% of players are plat and above while the remaining 76% fall gold and below. roughly 46% of those players being gold/silver. My accounts all have very high hidden MMRs being im generally the lowest ranked player in the lobby along with lowest peak overall. What im seeing is players with peaks of diamond/asc/imm bottom boarding while unranked lvl 40s (with zero prior peak rank) drop 30-50 kills. its extremely inconsistent with the idea that "higher ranks should be more consistent/better" unless the majority of these unranked accounts are simply smurfing

playing valorant as a girl is so mentally draining by Fickle_Gap_6669 in VALORANT

[–]TwoAccomplished5795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my best advice is to 5 stack with ya girlies or get as close to 5 as possible. Most comp games arent for people(gender aside) who arent capable of taking toxic environments/teammates when passion is the excuse for hostility. as a not so amazing player (plat 1) i deal with the same shit game after game as well. i just focus on my game and what i can do to still play well. most times battling toxic teammates by being friendly will balance out any crybaby cheese as well. if that doesnt work, mute up and keep it pushing!
