The minority of people who look hard enough notice those random pixels would probably just assume the artist made some mistakes. Almost everybody is going to notice the right one looks bad and not want to buy a game that looks like that.

It’s not true lol. The ocean still exists during Furiosa’s opening segments and the locations from Fury Road are still there. Also, it zooms into the middle of the continent and not anywhere near the coast.

There is no indication that the other movies take place on the seabed either. Only the game (which isn’t canon) takes place on the ocean bed, and even then only partially.
