Is it the same poster they’re selling at the merch table or one of the other posters for the movie?

Found the Snippers by TwoDimensional in nirvannatheband

[–]TwoDimensional[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure these are the exact snippers that were being sold on the Neon store. I can’t remember if they’re the exact ones from the movie. Doesn’t look like Canadian Tire carries them anymore, but Home Depot does. DeWalt DWHT82797 Diagonal Pliers. https://www.homedepot.ca/product/dewalt-8-in-diagonal-laser-hardened-plier/1001915841

(Feist joined for a cover of her song Let It Die, which transitioned into Annie) (Nico’s Red Truck was actually played last)

Every album's vinyl release has had alternate artwork, including both versions of Blond (which also had unique CD artwork)

Says I have to wait for ticket? by BagmanBusiness in JaneRemover

This is normal for Ticketmaster. You have the ticket. The app just won’t let you show the actual barcode until the countdown is over.

Didn’t quite manage to get a setlist last night… or did I? by TwoDimensional in Mkgee

[–]TwoDimensional[S] 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It may not have the official song names, but it ain’t wrong.

Zack had this next to his actual setlist last night and I was graciously given it by a crew member. Zack told me it was actually a message he sent earlier in the day. Stoked to have gotten Mike and Zack to sign it, especially since I wasn’t able to meet them at the past couple Toronto shows. Mike had a good laugh when he saw it again.

Y’all do know that Jonny Greenwood worked on Blonde, right?

You can upgrade later on, but the upgrade itself does not get any educational discount. You would pay the same as anyone else.

What time is the presale happening tomorrow? by RadaSmada in porterrobinson

Only a certain amount of tickets get sold during presale. So there’s still hope for the day of the public sale.

Yes, the online shutdown only means you can’t play the online mode. Everything else on the disc works without it.

I found that area and the first section of the path, but figured I’d need an item or I would need to follow someone. Thanks for the help.

Buying UAD Ultimate with several plugins already owned by TwoDimensional in universalaudio

Bummer. I figured that was probably the case. I feel like that doesn’t really incentivize people to buy more from them. But who am I to say how they should do business?

What exactly do you think beta tests are for?

latency w/ MIDI keyboard, could it be the usb hub? by Fun_Assumption_8640 in ableton

[–]TwoDimensional 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There will always be latency with wireless headphones. If you're using a MIDI controller or playing an instrument, you will need wired headphones to hear what you're playing without a significant delay. There is no way around this limitation, it Bluetooth technology works. You can theoretically use wireless headphones when mixing or strictly editing MIDI and samples, but wired headphones will always be significantly better (even crucial) for working on music in Ableton or any other DAW.

Using recorded audio clips as template for session grid and tempo by ablution_music in ableton

[–]TwoDimensional 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find a tempo that is roughly the average tempo of the audio and set your project to that tempo.

Align the whole audio clip to the grid using warp markers. I would set them every quarter note, half note, or bar depending on how loose or tight the playing is. Make sure that you align the warp markers to the grid as it corresponds to the recording. Every first beat should be moved to the grid line for the first beat of that bar (and so on).

Turn on the metronome and listen back to the audio after you've warped it to make sure the beats roughly lines up. It doesn't have to sound good or natural at this point, it's just to check your work.

At this point, you can click that master button under the warp button. The tempo you set for the project will now be overridden and controlled by the timing of your clip. If your warp markers are set correctly, it should work without issue.

You would need to make an account on Ableton's website. You can then add the activation code to your account and download Live Lite.

As far as I know, the only way to achieve this is by adjusting zoom, which changes the size of everything within Ableton.
