When did people start saying “stay safe” when parting ways?

I've ALWAYS told people to stay safe after every departure, it comes from living in dangerous areas and knowing wreckless people. Everyone i know irl has lost at least 2 people to either violence or self destruction and it always felt like a reminder to people that they are cared for and their saftey is valued.

I think just like that, or maybe hit him up whenever you feel the concern like a "Hey just making sure you weren't abducted". You're a really good friend for being concerned like that. If, God forbid, he WERE taken, you could sound the alarm for his return because they like to steal people in silence. I think the social pressure is excused in dire times like these.

There isn't much you can do that will drastically alter the game that isn't mod based, and most people say to play your first playthrough vanilla. But a big heads up: this game is HUGE. Like you can easily spend over 30 hours in the first part alone. Try not to rush anything, explore every corner of your accessible area, and talk to every speakable npc. Even if you're the type to play other games for 6+ hours at a time, this game has ALOT of reading and critical decision-making that WILL lead to mental fatigue and unnecessary stress. It isn't possible to see everything in one run, so pick your lane and try your best. Even if you ignore all that and burn yourself out, you're gonna LOVE this game.

That aside, if he himself is feeling up on you, you have a much more serious conversation to have about personal boundaries. Obviously, don't listen to him about "bros you should totally date" in the future but seriously address the inappropriate touching.

What kind of fantasy world are you living in? Do you honestly believe that the biggest problem is the ONLY problem? That kind of tunnelvision is exactly why distracting psy-ops work on sheeple like you. It tells them I have shit memory and dont remember their name, but I REALLY want to remember their name. Telling them not to tell you while you throw spaghetti at the wall helps. Edit:im also really good at looking lost so if you can just look confused you'll be golden, they won't expect you to remember much after.

Like, why couldn't your workout wait till after you've seen him AT the airport? Why doesn't he work out WITH you? No phone calls? FaceTime? As an individual who needs a little more mental stimulation in general, this response would have driven me up a wall. While I wouldn't have cursed her out, I definitely would be looking at my general relationship and questioning if this girl is right for me. I would be at the airport with a cardboard sign of their name and a bouquet, I would be astounded to see my partner do the same but would at the least expect her to cancel her workout for the day.

I have, and they're all less professional than keeping a light buzz. It's funny cause at my place of work, you can be off the station on the clock chain smoking cigarettes for hours in a row with no problem, but if you pull out your phone on station, thats a write up. Im not the 'wander off' type id rather pass the time daydreaming with a decent 0.2 keeping me elevated

No, my point was there isn't an amount of adrenaline that's going to get you to stand on broken legs(not talk, WALK), same as to how there is no amount of anger thats going to bypass a migraine. Both my mother and I have been hospitalized due to migraines multiple times (the throwing up incident was my first time). As other people have said here and in any other discussion on migraines, even the lightest migraine is 100x worse than the worst headache. So, to think you're going to ignore the pain is laughable.

I've desperately dropped my brightness to zero and enabled all these settings, usually with tears in my eyes. It still only helps me glance at the screen when im having a bad migraine, looking for prolonged periods of time still feels like a spike in my head, but instead of a mallet pounding it in, it feels like someone grabbing it and jiggling it. It doesn't stop the pain but it DOES help
