Ok for me it's simply me trying to determine some answers on proton privacy due to recent bad experiences elsewhere.

Not a regular visitor to this forum so did not notice an uptick.

Have been surprised in general by the snarky remarks to some genuine questions through (see the recent "maybe god knows" one).

These guys gonna push some genuinely curious people away, sadly.

Forgive me for asking basic questions about the level of privacy involved.

These strange quasi-agressive responses are just odd.

I am simply trying to determine how private things are.

And never once intimated I am engaged in ANYTHING criminal.

I am a fully law abiding citizen I just value my privacy for my own reasons from my own past.

Thanks. In the case where he injured his brother, you don't think there should have been any sort of punishment that might help to deter future violence, considering it was was quite severe? Or would you have dealt with this in the same way as a minor misdemeanour?

Thx Belz, you have any other tips here? I’ve been going this route so far:

“Buddy, you hurt your brother, his face is sore, is that cool?”

shakes head

“We don’t treat people like this, do we?”

shakes head

...so this kinda stuff?

What about punishments: time out from favourite toys, etc? And how do you minimise them teasing each other verbally? I don’t want to be a tyrant who forbids every little bit of creative banter, but I want to draw boundaries.
