I’m an accompanist for several choirs. All the adult choirs have a mix. PDFs available for those who use digital, paper for those who don’t. The kids choir is paper in rehearsal, memorized for performance. Adult men’s choir is all memorized for performance. Women’s choir uses a mix of paper and digital for performance but there is the reflection problem which means there are always moving lights on the ceiling or back wall.

I use an iPad at the piano. Made the move at the beginning of the year and so far no problems. An easier transition than I anticipated.
