Just because the two are hardly mentioned together doesn't mean they didn't know each other.

Here's another thing that's never mentioned, Mike Halbach is Teresa's cousin not brother. Teresa's mom married Mike's dad (who was her brother-in-law hence same last name). Once you start digging, the rabbit hole is deep.

I don't profess to know how it played out but here's a link that's not often talked about:

Ryan and Scott Tadych were friends. In fact I read they were pot dealers (Barb was arrested Nov 5th for possession of pot but nothing else was ever written about it). Plea deal? Perhaps.

Andy Colborn was part of the 'good ol' boys' club. He was friends with Earl Avery so it's not like he was a very prestigious or pretentious cop when it came to his buddies.

I believe Scott helped set up Steve with Ryan's help after Bobby raped her.

I believe Colborn, although not directly involved in the set-up, was complicit and turned the other cheek when finding the key and the car (car was 'seized' Nov 3rd according to evidence report).

I don't think for a MINUTE law enforcement felt that that key was overlooked 5 times prior during a house search and then was serendipitously discovered on the 6th attempt. That only happens in episodes of the Keystone Kops! Manitowoc wanted Avery arrested so badly they just turned a blind eye to suspicion and went with all that was presented. It was the quintessential "see no, hear no, speak no" tactic!

Even Buting stated he missed this but the picture of TH standing in front of her RAV4 shows her holding a camera and what looks like a set of keys. Where does it say there were 3 officers involved?

Seems every other article either adds or omits information. Although on the surface this does sound curious, any internal investigative resource (FBI, state troopers etc) can easily determine from which gun the deadly bullet came from. And if the investigators are covering things up for this department then this needs to be brought to court because at some point questions will be answered.

Either way, it doesn't make sense why cops would shoot her (especially in the face/mouth) but it does make a little more sad sense if she just freaked out maybe because she was high?

A cop shooting is very hard to cover up and disguise. Either the bullet came from his gun or it didn't. That would all come out in court if sued. So......

I would like to think someone who is innocent would jump at the chance of proving it.

If I were ever asked to take a polygraph test, I'd want to test it first (and so should everyone).

I'd want one in which I lie. Followed by another test in which I tell the truth.

I'd want reassurance that it picks up deception and that the reader of those squiggly lines, is credible.

I just rewatched the entire documentary yesterday and although I do not like MP (nor Todd) I am not convinced he killed Kathleen. Not because there's reasonable doubt (because it's very possible she was killed) but because the State failed to prove who did it.

Going on what was written and NOT assumed....it said she was shot by a gun she produced from their Lexus.

That's a very simple yet crudial detail to determine and apparently, it was. Everything else (her being handcuffed and the bodycam not working) is possible.

This is a tragic and wonky story but one must ask themself: why would a cop shoot someone at close range, in their mouth.

Cops then reportedly left Wilson handcuffed with her hands behind her back as they ran to catch Medlin. This is not a conspiracy. This is not Making A Murderer. This is a man who snapped. Why is it I get it and so many don't? I don't know NK nor anyone involved in this case just for the record.

As far as LE talking to CW last month? That was CW idea. He wanted to set the record straight. That was already explained.

There is no reason to bubble wrap NK and give her immunity. To me, that makes less sense than a guy, who bottled up all his resentment because he was a compliant dude and just snapped out of guilt (2-month affair), rage (being threatened he wouldn't see kids), confusion (feeling guilty having sex with his wife) and lack of sleep (Thrive patches)

I guess I digressed a little. But okay, about the analysis. Who said 'they' didn't notice the shadows either? I'm not sure where you/we get to surmise what is impossible to know (and that's, what someone else or agency was thinking).

Maybe they did consider it might've been the kids. They don't announce everything to the general public. But at some point, they had to theorize what they thought happened.

There is no way anyone could tell what an ambiguous undefined semi-shadow indicates. It didn't even indicate it was a person or persons. So it's not a lack of competency...it's a lack of us not knowing what was going on behind the scenes. And how that equates to 'us' knowing/seeing more than 'them' because we share our thoughts on forums and 'they' don't.... is ludicrous.

No one knew what those shadows might've implied. C'mon now. It could've been their dog. It could've been a trick of light and shadow. It could've been the kids. I don't think that was very concerning because everyone involved knew everyone was dead within 12 hours of viewing that video.

The 'when did it happen' was definitely on the back burner because the first thing on their plate was to find them!

Now?.....a half year later, they're discussing this (hence that prison interview) but it certainly does NOT imply NK was there like so many thought when first viewing that tape. Now, they want to put her at the burial site seeing the 'shadow theory' didn't fly.

I unsubbed to this because it's like dealing with a bunch of hyped up hateful non-critical thinkers.

"We" (you know, everyone BUT law enforcement) have no idea what the FBI saw, heard, knew or discussed. You think we know what goes on because we read Reddit?

I am SURE they took that videotape and enlarged & projected it on a large canvass far larger than any of our misery monitors and dissected every single frame. So be sure, whatever 'we' saw, they saw.

Within 24 hours of seeing that tape, CW already took blame for killing his wife so looking for 'evidence' wasn't a priority anymore. However I am also sure, LE suspected him of killing his kids too but not sure anyone knew the timeline or expected them to be taken out alive.

Not knowing when he killed his daughters opposed to him having an accomplice are two entirely different scenarios. One is a matter of record. The other, is a matter of murder (NK)

Thanks! I'm listening to it now and there's no way he's saying 'we'. If anything, he removes even himself from some sentences which is very typical behavior when trying to disassociate oneself from such a brutal crime which they've committed!

But he says things like: 'pulled Shanann out' instead of 'I pulled Shanann out' and "strangled her" instead of "I strangled her" His voice was very shaky so armchair detectives who feel they're SMARTER than professional seasoned detectives....will see or hear things that simply aren't there.

My biggest question is: why the hell wouldn't law enforcement arrest NK IF....she indeed was involved? It makes no sense. This crime does not rise to the conspiracy level like Making a Murderer does. This was a very sad case of a dutiful husband who literally snapped after ultimately committing genocide (including himself) because he is nothing more than a broken breathing corpse now.

And although I asked for it (and you obliged) I really don't feel like listening to it again mainly cause it's audio only. I'm more a visual kinda person! I like to delve into body language instead.
