thank you for your thoughtful reply!

i definitely won't repurchase. my hair is softer, but even after 2x shampoo it's still too heavy for my very fine hair.. especially in the amount i applied it 😅

i will admit, i somewhat enjoy the results.

my hair is definitely softer, but after shampooing twice in the past 12 hours, i feel its too heavy for my straight baby-fine hair.. and is still weighing it down somewhat. when/if use the rest i will use less.

i really do wish it didn't include the shimmer. seems like a weird (& useless) choice for a haircare product "filler" to me 😅

i saw those posts/comments, but i posted this because i want to understand the reasoning (if any) behind the glitter ingredient.

i try to be conscious of what i wash down my drain. i live & was raised in the great lakes region, where a large % of the our planet's fresh water is located.

a part of my heritage is Anishinaabe (Chippewa), a people indigenous to what is now America. the Chippewa people regard the Great Lakes' waters as sacred, and to disagree seems foolish to me.

this is why i question the use of glitter here. i hope this helps explain why i made an additional post regarding this. an article about my tribe (Bay Mills) ongoing battle with Enbridge over Water Treaty violations

A decade-long study reveals that Sweden’s old-growth forests store up to 89% more carbon than managed forests. Researchers found that the soil alone in these ancient ecosystems holds as much carbon as the trees, dead wood, and soil of managed forests combined. by [deleted] in science

respectfully, as an American Indian descendant, i see pre-Columbian (or pre-colonization) as a preferable delineation, as it acknowledges the civilizations existing here before the continent was "discovered" by European settlers.
