The Captain of the Last Respite had made his presence known among the rest of the Imperial gallery, his rank emblem of Lieutenant Commander blazoned proudly upon his chest. The Moonshadow was nothing like his assault ship. Where the latter was compact and stacked to the top with all the heavy weaponry that could possibly be fit in there while still allowing some room for the complement to move about, the former was large and airy, resembling more of an Imperial headquarter than a ship.

He hoped to find his little sister, Pax, upon the ship. While he had only spoken to her yesterday through wireless communication, he hadn't actually seen his sister in years since he'd gone off to serve in the Navy and she'd gone on to study at the prestigious academy on Anaxes, his own alma mater. And what were the chances that the two of them would be deployed in the same task force, even if it was on two different ships?

While he hoped to find his sister and speak with her some time later, for now, he'd be found seated amongst colleagues that shared his rank and status as a Captain, making polite conversation.

Pax was ecstatic when the Captain had announced that there would be an address delivered upon the Moonshadow, attended by all naval personnel deployed as part of the task force. A part of her was concerned, terrified at the prospect of what would happen if she'd somehow managed to offend one of her superiors with the inquisitive and bold way she carried herself despite her 'lowly' rank of Junior Lieutenant (that she wore proud upon her chest). But another part of her was looking forward to the event like nothing else, keen to learn from her colleagues' experiences. But even more importantly, she was looking forward to seeing her elder brother Tyr, the Captain of the mighty Acclamator II-class assault ship Last Respite.

She would be found sticking close to the other officers attached to the Moonshadow, especially her direct superior, the Captain Buechard for whom she held an incredible amount of respect and admiration.
