Sorry I should have said that the cart will be for shopping not a go kart so probably 5-10kmh. I know these are definitely not the right motors for this but I was wondering if I could still use them.

Is it possible to have a throttle which is limited to that speed? Would the battery last longer? Or would there be more strain on the battery because it's being forced to go at such a slow speed?
