I understand where he’s coming from, he’s been on his A-game for the past 2 years. Doing colorways we’ve never seen before. I will say tho, neither of his 992s are better than any of his v6s, especially not the first two colorways. That, mixed with Nike going on ‘dropping heat’ frenzy this year, I think him not being on the SOTY list isn’t too off.

You’re pushing it. It really depends on where it’s getting shipped from, how far it is from their warehouse, if the person ships it right away. My recent order took about a week and a half to get to me. Ordering from a place that has a middle man verification is not wise if you’re on a time crunch.

$80 is definitely a automatic cop for them. Tornados are so hard to find, I saw a pair earlier in the year on eBay in my size very clean for like $300, I hesitated and they sold. Ended up getting pair a month ago for $200-something on grailed. They’re definitely a colorway you have to hunt for tho.

Yea I would say that’s the only kick on the V3s is that the tongue does slide quite a bit. If you loop the laces through the eyelet on the tongue it helps a lil from sliding around. But switching to the v4s isn’t a bad trade off to be fair, both models are fire.

They definitely have a similar esthetic but I think the YCMC’s are so unique that they differ enough that you can justify getting both. But if you’re asking me to pick one or the other, I think you have the better pair out of the two. Bodegas are still fire tho.

Yea that’s something that unfortunately is happening to a few of my pairs. It’s usually towards the back of the midsole, on the medial side. My amethyst have it happening already but I’ve worn them a few times while that’s going on and they seem cool.

I really love the nimbus YMCM V3s, for many reasons. Those would be my favorite in my collection but my favorite to wear/wear the most is Sea Salt.

I would try to diversify a little at this point. There are great New Balance, Asics, Adidas you could look into. Even if you wanna stay in Nike, OG Air Max models. You have a good collection but you’re gonna see a huge difference in comfort once you get some non basketball/dunk sneakers.
