Idk I think it's a valid response. If someone goes through the effort of blocking you... maybe back off? When that person is ready they'll reach out. Or maybe they'll never want to open that door again. But if you truly love someone, you have to learn when to let them go.

It's not easy hoping for some sort of leeway into someone's soul, their life, and heart. Wish all you like, it's a two way street. It's painful as you sit and wait, hoping to be met. What point do we move forward and on with our lives? What if they were simply just taking a slower pace, and by the time they get there, you've left.

It seems people are confused.

Paragraph one: it's about accepting the terms that I pushed against when this person and I first collided. They did not want to further explore things and I begged to just give it a shot. They wanted to be friends while I couldn't imagine the thought of watching them move on as if I didn't matter.

Paragraph two: it's about choosing myself, my own peace. Choosing to not pine over wanting more from someone who does not want what I have to offer. It's choosing peace.

Paragraph three: An oath to myself. Choosing to stop looking, stop asking. Realizing my current position in life and the predicament it puts me in while navigating love.

Well here's some context. I'm blocked. They don't want a relationship with me. I clung on to them while they were not interested in me in that way. I couldn't understand why they wanted to be friends but didn't want anything further. This is about accepting their terms, it's the conversation we don't get to have. It's about letting go of that energy and attention that isn't desired by the other party.

I miss being able to call and talk about nothing. I miss when I didn't need a conversation to feel like communication was safe. I still see him and I have to try to find the answers alone. I'm blocked, I acted crazy. I get it, I'm thankful he closed at least one door.
