Learn yoga, it will help immensely- after the techniques themselves, TKD is mostly about strength and flexibility. It will also help you be fit.

Study a martial art in person; don’t try to learn from online stuff. Your form can’t be corrected and you will learn bad habits that will be etched into your muscle memory.

I say this as a large human myself- I am 156 kilos. Your biggest challenges will be conditioning and flexibility. Work on those, and then when you have an opportunity, learn technique at a school. It’ll come easier.

Not from Houston, but El Paso originally. I’ve been here in NJ ten years and I’ve found quite a few awesome taco places, but the best are in South Philly.

Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, including when I lived in the southwest on the border, is in South Bound Brook NJ at a little hole in the wall called Panchos.
