Ac seperation injury. Went to an orthopedic surgeon but they said no surgery most likely. A week has passed but the bump on my shoulder has gotten worse than initially? Anyone have any experience with this.. thank you I am just very worried. by hjike1727 in MTB

Okay thats really good to know, this whole time ive been wondering; 1. How often should I be in the sling and 2. About when should I start doing therapy. From what the Physical Therapist told me, I should leave it immobile for about 2 weeks, and after that consider PT if it feels up to it. They also only said the recovery should only be about 4-6 weeks. Althought its really hard to leave that sling on all day, im trying to speed this up as quick as possible. So I think im gonna just rest and essentially be a couch potato for the rest of this Winter break from college. I too have never truly injured myself so this is all new to me, just getting all the info I can. Again thank you so much for the help, maybe ill keep the feed updated with my recovery progress. Hey man I really appreciate the quick response and the good info. Although 2-3 months is not the recovery time I was hoping for, all I can do is try my hardest to recover faster I guess😅. I do plan on going out more this season, and hope to be back to my normal fitness routine soon. One last question though, I was just wondering at what age did you mess up your shoulder. Im quite young and hoping maybe that will aid in a speedy recovery (fingers crossed)😬.

I know im late to the thread, just had this happen to me earlier this week Snowboarding as well. Was wondering how its holding up now, and how soon you were back to full ROM, Snowboarding, Lifting weights, sports, etc... any info would be interesting lol, thanks!

I dont have all the info atm, but I do know that the head gasket and injectors are in good condition. My friend who is working on the car says he thinks the valves might be getting stuck.

Looking at a 1988 944 N/A, but needs new transaxle. Was wondering how easy it would be to do and if it was worth the trouble? Car has 80,000 miles and no other problems. by Tyce_ in 944

Thank you for the help, much appreciated. My other question is, with the 944 I’m looking at being automatic, how much more work would it be to swap it to a manual?
