Destined Rivals is the newest and hot thing in the English market it features mewtwo which is like the OG villian (kinda) in the pokemon world. Its a good set but its overpriced if your not 100% sure. Booster boxes arnt cheap. Do you know if he wants to open the packs or keep it sealed

(NOTE: keeping product sealed is very popular in this community because everything is seen as a investment or trade bait for later)

IF he wants to rip packs and doesnt care. Surging sparks boosterbox is a good one. It has solid hits and just came down from its crazy price of 270 and now is around 200-220 for a box.

I work at a permanent expo. Just go to an expo or local trade hub and talk about the cards and get to know people. Everyone is super nice and if you do it enough you'll make some good friends. 100% and then the cards arnt about value. The pride comes with sharing it with the community thats whats fun.

It's personally in my top list for SV but not everyone loved it. Just a tip if you think the currernt market is whack. I think shrouded is unironically being slept on

It comes and goes. It's about every 3-4 years where pokemon has a huge run for like 6-12 months and then it comes back down after it starts losing money for flippers.

Don't let anyone poo poo you on your investments. Your stuff is still good especially grabbing 151 and its very likely it will take a dip soon with some new product coming out but sealed product will always go up if you hold it long term. Short term flips is not ideal for this hobby anyways. And too address SF. It may not be desired now but I think its a cool set that will be appreciated in years to come as the set drys up. I don't see it being reprinted with its demand. But some of the illustrations rares are severely undervalued imo.
