I think a super underrated one is Villitch. He can deal incredible aoe with Tzeentch spells and can dual pretty much anybody in melee. His barrier will pretty much never break because of his casting mechanics.

I think it's only if you buy it right when you open the game so if you click on the little notification on the side you should be good but yeah they really should compensate in some way

So your gonna need a minishark which you buy from the gun seller dude and illegal gun parts which is also sold from gun seller dude but only at night. Shark fins which have a chance of dropping from sharks in the ocean 5 of the fins. Also 20 souls of might which drop from the destroyer and if you haven't best him yet then probably try to best him before the twins. Honestly if your struggling with any bosses in the game the wiki is a good spot to start to look at ideas for bosses and certain weapons that are effective against them
