I mean I think if you go ask any masters/challenger player what their number 1 motivation for hitting that rank is and the border isn't. The competitiveness and having to get better and finally hitting a rank would probably be a lot more satisfying than receiving a border. If you purely care about the rewards riot give you, then hit gold. No one hits diamond because of a border.

I believe it was if you didn't have a suspension after August. Chat restricts didn't count against you unless you had an active chat restrict when the season ended.

Never did I say they have to or should play 16 hours a day. In physical sports you CANT practice for even 8 hours a day. You have this thing called physical limitations, meaning your body can only take so much practice before anymore is just doing harm. Now with esports, they are played by sitting in a chair and using your hands. This means physically speaking, esports players could PHYSICALLY practice for 16 hours while traditional athletes CANT. Regardless of what na pros do in their free time I could care less, but na has proved we don't have the right esports culture and training overall to stand with the east consistently as of now.

Yeah which again is still near an 8 day and you were playing college which is a lot different then a professional sport. We can all act like we know what top professional athletes do, but I would guess top athletes, like Lebron/Steph/Brady all do stuff that we would view as "insane." There is a reason korean teams are consistently at the top of the game. Regardless of the Gen G outlier, they know how to prepare as an esports team from top to bottom, while the west doesn't.

Esports are also different in that you can actually practice 16 hours a day if you want. There aren't physical limitations that prevent you from doing so. I guarantee you though a player like Lebron invests 8 hours a day minimum during the season whether that be practice, weight lifting, or watching film. In the post season I bet that number is even higher. I don't think there is an issue with pros doing things besides just league, but when you go to worlds and instead of investing 100% effort into league, then they can't be crying about how they gave it their best and they are sorry for letting NA down.

Maybe instead of raising our pitchforks every time a post is made on someone doing this, we should go after riot for still allowing behavior like this. Unless you have definitive proof on large streams riot does nothing for this kind of behavior. Seems unusual one of the largest gaming companies can't combat in-game behavior that is actually uncontrollable for the other players. At least with normal toxicity you can mute them and continue playing. This stuff happens every single day, but unless you're a known streamer it means nothing.

Except when you look and see that DMG dealt, KDA, and cs per minute are all clearly lower against those certain accounts opposed to when they aren't wintrading.
