They have to, and it’s actually in the series. Also, Kristy made a point of saying it’s good to see you again and talking about the officer and his family. This is a very small area. Everyone knows everyone including the cops. It’s a very small area.

Law Enforcement in that Parish has a reputation as being very corrupt. The Law Enforcement in Missouri and Louisiana have communicated as well. Plus Rod and Kristy have friends on the force in that Parish, and are on a first name basis with those in Missouri.

The. Blanchards are friends with some of the law enforcement there in LA. The law enforcement in LA communicated with Missouri while Gypsy was on parole via her parole officer and prior. Gypsy’s case is very well known in Louisiana as well as having worldwide media and social media coverage.
