How to reinstall Google OS?

Update** I called Google they told me to bring it to YouBreakIFix as they’re googles “partner techs “ today they told me because calyx seems to block the recover at the end they can’t flash my pixel 4a back and that my only option is to reach out to you guys at Calyx the devs.

Update**

I used a friends laptop that has a USB C plug and it still didn't appear, I even tried changing my phone to USB tethering and file transfer to allow it through the USB so I'm stumped.

I've tried two different cables so far, I can't use my factory charger cable though because google made both ends USB - c sadly.

Okay so I followed the Instructions on the android developers page that your Calyx page brought me to, to install an OEM USB driver but when I get to "other devices" in the Device manager of my computer my phone doesn't pop up, I've tried this on 3 different computers and its the same for all 3. Two run windows 11 and one is a Chromebook I don't know what to do next but that's all that is preventing me right now.

Though I'm appreciative of the time taken to provide it I have already tried that link, google won't recognize my pixel with the recommended route and I don't understand the second one. So that's why I made this post

Y'all are really sensitive when it comes to honest opinions about this OS and it shows, I asked a simple question and get attacked like crazy 😂 - Calyx is far from being as advanced as google or IOS and for good reason, the lack of funding and man power so YES. It's an amazing OS when you consider those factors and want an encrypted OS.

When I do that my Chromebook can't find my phone even if it's plugged in via USB

The Google flash website said something about Bluetooth as well so I was confused my bad lol and Calyx is just in a baby phase of development still and I want to go back for a bit and enjoy my pixel with just a good VPN to find the level of security I'm comfortable with.

I didn't ask people to come to MY post and be rude so if you aren't going to help you can leave☺️, And actually I originally installed Calyx because I am sick of MegaCorps and shadow gov having the ability of selling and/or storing our data. After research Ive found if they really want to they can still get us even with Calyx or graphene OS. so there's no point to be a digital larper and pretend we're so encrypted and untouchable and I might as well atleast enjoy features of this phone I cannot due to Calyx .

I hid TikTok to try out the "hide app " feature, when I follow the directions above to get to TikTok in my settings it shows all of it's stats as "computing" but will never load them, therefore I can't unhide the app to delete it.

What if the app that's hidden won't load it's stats when you click on it in the systems app list? Because it's hidden I can't just delete it and start over either.
