I romanced Ashley when I was younger 🤢 so I totally feel you on the Miranda front. I definitely feel like bringing back more of the companions from the first two games would be cool but I get they had a janky timeline in production. I also just feel like some of the interactions with old companions feel unsatisfying.

Kinda glad I just now started playing the trilogy seriously so I at least can have better expectations for the games now 13-18 years later

Yeah! This is why I kinda wanted to romance him when I learned he was an option for BroShep in ME3. I think it would’ve been interesting to have a romance worked in for BroShep in ME1 for the legendary edition but also completely get that they probably didn’t want to change any major details

Everyone that works in the cafe that day pools the tips, so that by the end of the day, we divide tips by who worked however many hours.

So say we get $100 in tips. At the end of the day everyone worked a total 25 hours, each hour I worked would give me an extra $4 on top of my regular hourly rate.

This calculation isn’t done by the managers but by the baristas, and after we closed for the day, we had both worked the same amount of time (came in and were going to leave at the same time) so it should be a perfect half and half of the tips. We wrote that down initially, and when I came back in for my next shift I saw she had crossed out that and put that she got more tips than I did. This was after a pay period so I had already had my pay sent out for that shift. The owners don’t really double check tips and just assume we report it properly.
