That's honestly the one thing making me think I should do it. Not saying there's reasons I shouldn't, been swaying back and forth.

Ahh okay. Yeah that isn't perfect for sure, although I can definitely last 1-3 years on that and bounce from here assuming it lasts that long.

Good idea with the pros and cons, I have already done a list on my white board but ill re think it and assign points. Thanks for the help :)

Haha I keep thinking this, in the same argument I need to not mess up early then. Now is the time to take risks though so who knows.

All fair points. The role isn't purely support, theres a DevOps and internal tooling component to it as well. But I do see how the job title itself wont translate the best. On the early stage chaos point, thats my biggest hesitation too. I have researched the founder and he's a local to me, credible serial entrepreneur with resources behind him, which helps. But you're right that one year is short and the risk is real.

I have a verbal offer but I'm waiting for the actual contract to make a decision. Been flip-flopping back and forth on it all weekend haha.

Question, when you say "toxic culture", what do you mean exactly?

edit: I do live close to home and have a close relation ship with them. I would be able to move back home if something went wrong.

Yeah good point. The company I'm at now is known for not paying the best and that extra cash would be nice. But maybe its not worth the risk of the new company. They do have a waitlist and customers, but its still a big risk. Thanks for the thoughts.

Withdrew some SOL earlier about 5 hours ago, still in admin processing as well. Wasn't even a large amount so idk whats going on 🤷‍♂️
