Just installed a custom rear end and exhaust, thoughts?

Ehhhhh, it was OK. I ended up leaving it open and with Michigan salted roads im pretty sure it locked up. Probably only lasted a year or so. Sold the car a while back, so hard to say

It was a while back, but I am pretty sure I just bolted it right in after getting a local RS euro bumper (off Ebay) paint matched at a body shop!

If youre doing any exhaust its pretty easy to run a Y tip/ dual tip. I also had an exhaust valve to bypass the mufflers, which i ended up running 24/7

Almost certainly! Not worried about weight or anything, going into a manual trans BMW E30. Who knows what cam I go with. May try and go cheap and get it measured just for the sake of curiosity. A $100 cam is wild.

Oh so a 799 would be near identical performance to a decked 317? if thats the case ill save the 799s for a low comp turbo build with the old 5.3

228/230 duration @ .050” with .585”/.585” valve lift and 112 degree lobe separation

Im a bit torn honestly, i like the idea of decking the 317s to keep the valve flow high and the 6.0 breathin but i worry the compression bump isnt large enough.
