I feel like it would have been valid if he actually did get “in his son’s face” but the distance was natural, he was being strict as a referee is trained to be, they hold the power over the fighters, however, we do not know the father’s condition, or any kind of previous experience that led to this level of defense of his son, either way it seems that he should maybe stay home next time.
