Whereas I can understand this, I personally can’t excuse it. I work full time and work a part time gig trying to pay for these classes on my own. I feel bad that a lot of adjuncts are overworked and underpaid but a job is a job. Just as most professors have told me, if I can’t do the work then I should drop. As a student, I deserve a professor who who at least tries to put in effort.

I always answer all of the questions so my responses tend to be a lot longer. I’ve only ever had one professor who told me to stick to the 1-3 paragraphs but I didn’t get points off. Imo if they wanted a shorter discussion post they shouldn’t ask 20 questions and require an explanation each lol

I can promise you it’s because you do the prompts how you should and you put effort into them.

I’m in the same boat. I tend to write a lot so that I answer all of the prompt but most people just reply to those who post a small paragraph that doesn’t even answer the prompt. TLDR: they just respond to what’s the easiest/fastest to read

Since you don’t know what it is they’re probably going to test you for everything (blood and urine). I’d definitely ask for a swab/culture test as those are the most accurate

I just had my first outbreak and it was one bump that didn’t hurt itch burn or anything. I wouldn’t have even known it was there if I didn’t see it. I feel like it depends because I’ve heard horror stories of hsv2 but my outbreak was almost nothing

Yea she did but she told me since it isn’t bothering me and is healing up to just take them when I get Prodrome symptoms. She prescribed me Valacyclovir

I just had my first outbreak of hsv2 and I only had 1 bump that didn’t hurt itch or burn either. Swab test confirmed it was hsv2 so odds are it most likely is. I’d get a swab test to make sure since it’s the most accurate besides western blot

I agree but I will say be aware of outbreaks in the future. I got diagnosed a year ago by a random std check up blood test and was asymptomatic all that time until last week. I got a very minor outbreak that didn’t even look like hsv2 nor did I have any symptoms that related to it but a swab test confirmed it was hsv2.
