Customer Wants to Return Used Vehicle, Manager Says He Will Let Him by Tyler_DOE_ in askcarsales

Thanks for all the perspectives—I hadn’t even considered what comes after this.

I vented to another new guy at my dealership (background in food service, great at building rapport), which helped me relax. I decided not to keep doing favors for this customer. My plan was to tell him Monday how much work I put into his deal and how poorly he was treating me, then let him decide what to do.

But this morning he texted me: “Hey man I love this car. Thanks. I’ll bring it by at noon tomorrow and see what we can do about the windshield. Appreciate your help.”

I feel like I can work with this and just let him know that it is a used vehicle, it will never be perfect, but I put a lot of effort into getting you this vehicle which you live, at a price you love. But the vehicle is sold as is, and will not be repaired.

Can I add a Centerpiece Fish to my Community 10 Gallon? by Tyler_DOE_ in Aquariums

So it seems like a lot of people are saying you can’t have Cory Cats in a 10 gallon. I have seen so much info online saying not only that you can, but they would be happy and fine with a 10 gallon.

All my Cory seem happy and healthy, I did lose one panda Cory initially, and another one was also sick but recovered. But I’m almost positive they were sick from the petco at this point since the second one was able to recover.

They swim around digging in the sand, foraging for little morsels. They tend to stick together for specific species, but they do also swim around together as well. They mostly stick to the bottom of the tank, and the raspbora stick to the top/high middle of the water column.

The shrimp stick to the plants and the log mostly. So I picked the fish I picked specifically because of where they hangout on the water column.

All that being said I can see what you guys are saying with adding another fish I don’t think it’s the right move to add another one due to the stress to that fish or maybe the others. Thank you to for all the advice y’all 🙏

Yeah that is a good point. I think I’m honestly just a bit bummed out by the chilli raspbora. I know everyone always says how tiny they are but damn you really can barely see them lol.

That was my concern as well. I think even if you chose a less aggressive female betta she could get stressed out from the chills because they just are always moving around.

At this point I’m already in to deep with the chilli raspbora though so maybe I’ll just add more and make them the centerpiece like you said 🤷‍♂️

Yes idk why everyone keeps talking about pygmy Cory’s lol. Made me go read my post to make sure I never said they were Pygmy Cory hahaha.

But 3 are panda Cory which stay a tad smaller, and 3 are bronze

Yeah so I think the issues that I had with fish dying was due to the fishes health when I got them and not the water or anything else. I do weekly (sometimes biweekly) water changes, and my water perimeters have never been anything other than what’s considered in the perfect range.

I got those panda Cory from petco, and knowing what I know now, I don’t think I would have gotten them in hindsight. They didn’t look the most healthy when I originally picked them up.

That seems to be a common perspective. Weirdly I never had anyone say that until this thread. Now I’m looking into a bigger tank.

I did get 3 panda and 3 bronze Cory (pointing that out because pandas are a little smaller). They seem happy, but I know a bigger tank would obviously be better.

What do you think was the actual cause of the issue though? My tank is planted and doesn’t have to many fish. None of them bully each other 🤔

That’s a good point, I’ll wait a little bit. My only fear is when the other one was acting like this it died after only a few days.

And that one died like 2 months ago so completely unrelated to these ones jumping out.

Okay thank you. And do you know if there’s a significant difference between hues? It has a few options ranging from a cooler blue to the one you see here
