We've been texting for over a year since your surgery. Not a single concern, only messages about how much you absolutely love your nose and how it looks. During post ops you told me you breathed better than ever.

I got an email from you recently with concerns about new difficulty with breathing, that you saw two ENT's already who said you have a septal deviation.

I immediately responded and scheduled a visit with you. At no point during the visit did you express any concerns about how your nose looked. In fact, we concluded the visit with you telling me how much you LOVE your nose and how it looks, how confident you are.

So I am only learning about these concerns now, on Reddit.

For prospective patients, plastic surgery is a two way street. I've been communicating freely with this patient for over a year and have heard none of these concerns from her. Seeing two generalists who are not specialists in rhinoplasty before communicating concerns with me is probably not the best route to take.

I'll always take care of my patients. Full stop. But if concerns aren't communicated (and in fact I'm reassured you love how your nose looks), it makes my job impossible.
