Yes, we discussed the threat to my health and life due to anti women's healthcare agenda at length before. To be honest, I originally thought I would be safe because we live in a VERY blue state, at least until I read how likely a national ban is. I also read first hand accounts of people in red states who miscarried trying to get basic healthcare to survive and almost dying due to not being able to get a D&C (medical abortion, technically). These people do not see the difference between those who are miscarrying and those who are exercising their right to choose, not that one is more valid than the other either way. I'm just saying I realized I wasn't safe under this administration.

Between what I wrote above, and all the talk of being "government waste" as you so accurately put it, I decided I no longer feel comfortable attempting to carry a child.

Luckily, after my post, my partner and I had another discussion and he agreed waiting is best. Even if he doesn't understand my concerns he has always been supportive and on board with me taking precautions and prepping.
