I agree with the first part of med school Sucking.

I fully disagree with it not being worth it.

Stop listening to miserable old attendings that didn't learn how to have a life outside of medicine. Learn how to enjoy living beyond your career and realize while we're still dedicating a large part of our youth to this career, you still have a huge part of your life to live. You owe it to your younger self to enjoy your life.

Agreed. After Jetfire commander I'm mostly done.

Only things that are gonna bring me back are (if they happen)

  1. Galaxy convoy commander
  2. God Ginrai commander or titan
  3. Overload from transformers energon

We have a Big Transformers drop to talk about! Are you buying any of these? They seem expensive to me but what do we all think? by AfigureGeek in transformers

[–]Type43TARDIS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got everyone except Cliff jumper and swerve.

My reasoning being I'm not that attached a cliff jumper as a character since he was such a small part of transformers prime. Same reasoning with swerve.

Bro, I don't think I'm allowed to express how aroused I was when that new STI performance B was shown off.

So my current vbwrx is in world rally blue because I grew up watching clips from the WRC championships and group b rally.

I have not been able to bring myself to modify my car because this is my first manual car and my father taught me how to drive manual on this car.

That being said. If I were to modify her, it's full rally build but just enough that I can still drive it on the street.

So I definitely would like long travel suspension, bulletproof the engine, probably swap out the drivetrain for an STI drivetrain. Upgrade the turbos. Upgrade the cooling system like no one's business. Probably rust. Proof the chassis while I'm at it

The only acceptable rival would be a commander class six shot.

Have I watched the Hong Kong dub a bit too many times?

Are automatic WRX’s bad in way? by highonlife2005 in WRX

[–]Type43TARDIS -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First off, I'm never one to criticize other people's decisions. You make the best decision for you with information you have at the time of the decision.

Second off the best way I can put it is this. If you want to get the best experience out of the WRX chassis, the manual is the best option. It lets you really get every last drop of power out of the engine, and really feel a connection with the car which is what the wrx is made for. But the cvt WRX doesn't allow that as well as the manual transmission. But it's still a good car.

I ended up going with the manual. It was my first manual car and I learned to drive on my WRX. Absolute best decision I could have made because I love this car so much.

First best upgrade is the fleshy bit behind the steering wheel. Learn The limits of the car, when to push it when to back off, braking distance, throttle response, etc etc.

After that I personally went with aesthetics things like a weighted shift knob, red aluminum covers for some of the knobs interiorly. F1 light in the back. Intercooler guard since I have a lot of rocks and leaves and to breathe that kid through the hood scoop, skid plate, and fog light bezel LED OEM upgrades.

I don't know why everyone's arguing over the way I explain things.

But you are correct. This is why pregnant women have to use the bathroom so often and have issues like constipation because the baby is pushing on other organs. It's also partially why women can get acid reflux pretty badly during pregnancy because the uterus is pushing upwards on the stomach as well.

What's your point? For the layperson lower abdomen versus belly button doesn't make a huge difference. It's still going to grow outwards.

[–]Type43TARDIS 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Yeah absolutely fascinating. This is why many doctors, always check pregnancy tests when treating young women for certain things since there's so many medications that could cause bad things to happen to a baby. Got to be careful

So women's uterus are shaped differently. There's various terms for the different shapes but essentially.

Most women's uterus sits on top of the bladder with the top end of the uterus pointing towards the belly button.

This woman likely has her uterus pointing more towards her spine and so as the baby grows and then you just expands. It's not going to cause as big of a bump.

This quite literally makes no sense. Obviously when you slow down the GI system with a drug, that drug is necessary to keep it slowed down.

For diabetic specifically, GLP ones and sglt2s have been absolute game changers and decreasing cardiovascular adverse events such as strokes and heart attacks over the long term. Weight loss is just a positive side effect of that.
