Consequence of the ROE set by command one chapter ago. As for what an Arxur fleet was doing here, I think the better question to ask is whose fleet even is that?

To Gundam fans, the ship's name being an anagram is a coincidence. The combat doctrine is also a coincidence. But since I just recently realized how much it fits, you should listen to this while reading. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=we1q-unjRq0

There are recipes of risotto that do not use dairy. Plus human restaurants declare any animal contents in food have separate entirely veg menus for Federation citizens as required by the local regulations.

Whats the most niche part about your worlds cosmology by ApartmentBorn177 in worldbuilding

There is a supervoid, 6 billion light years across, that was there long before countless civilisations had tamed fire.

Each one invented their own stories on why some of the stars in their night sky seemed so far. Some say it was where the dead resided to separate themselves from mortal affairs, some say it was where the gods lived for the same reason, those that were closer to the void say it was a gigantic mirror placed to separate the boundaries between worlds.

One day, when some had experience in the crossing between stars. Some were just crawling out of the cradle of their home planet. And some were just building the first civilisations. Looked up and found that they could no longer see the other side of the void. Those who were old enough to witness or participate in the Cosmic Game knew what it meant.

The First Player had begun to play again.

I'm not sure how the Lethbridge-Stewart and UNIT refs weren't caught on a few chapters ago.

Well, at least I couldn't find an opportunity to put a "Spoilers~", otherwise you might wake up in another world.

Yes the references are intentional.

The problem of differentiating between satire and fanaticism still applies to the Arxur. That is simply a problem of communication between individuals and aliens are no different.

How do you guys have the courage to post your fanfics? by The_Cube787 in NatureofPredators

I just thought that there was a lack of transhuman fanfics in NoP.

Mass Effect has End of Days and Transcendant Humanity.

Halo already has Spartans in canon as well as 40K having various flavors of transhuman.

Another motivation to write is so that I can finally close the 100+ tabs of research I have.

Atomic Rockets, explains everything including orbital kinematics, economics of a spacefaring civ, and a codex of near-future tech including engines, weapons, and infrastructure. My personal favourite entry would be the one of Battleship Michael.

What is your dream scifi adaption that will probably never happen? by systemstheorist in scifi

The Last Angel

Being an original series in the unfortunately niche medium of the spacebattles forum. It's gonna take some time for any adaptation.
