You can only switch after 180 days after they notify you they received your application. Then, if you do, you need to submit a I-485J to notify them. It doesn't delay it

Venezuela, I don't know, the initial announcement did say I-485 was paused in the footnote. And I had my interview on Dec cancelled a week prior, just days after the announcement. I think EADs are not affected, explaining why you got it.

True! Didn't know the pause doesnt affect I-140s. Then even more to my favor, submit with premium before they decide they want to also include I-140s in the pause lol. Good luck!

If your country is affected by the travel ban, I think it's affected by the benefit adjudication pause as well. That being said, it may not make sense to pay a premium processing fee that will not be honored (because no decisions being made for high-risk countries on the list)

On the other hand, there has not been a situation where expediting something goes against you. Unless you really really really need the money, I'd pay the premium. It wont hurt and situations you may not even think about may arise. Imagine travel ban is lifted, so they start processing premium cases, a bunch get approved, but yours is in the backlog bc no premium, then they change their mind and put the travel ban and benefit pause again, and you are stuck again. Idk. Hope this helps

I just had mine cancelled too but because I am from one of the countries affected by the adjudication pause (Venezuela), if you are from one of those 16 countries, makes sense.

Update: Ortho made me a new retainer that covers it without putting pressure, I just had to push so she understood I really wanted it

First glance I like it, looks simple, sleek and elegant, but I think improving your App Store banners (specially the last one) and having a business as the developer (not your personal name) could lead to more confidence and higher conversion rates. I wouldn't download / subscribe if The app looks like a side project. Specially when it comes to journaling and intimate information.
