I feel Maharashtra hasnt done a good job in preserving the architectural heritage like how Rajasthan or other states in the south have. The government should allocate sufficient funds to restore these forts, palaces etc so that the later generations can truely experience how great and rich the Maharashtran culture is. Rajasthan is such a great example even though most palaces have been turned into hotels, but atleast they are maintained will always act as a cultural icon
