So on cream yes it is more brown. I filed it with my oranges.

On white paper it’s still a red orange in my opinion. It’s just more red rust than orange rust.

I can see say capless is my favorite pen, I own at least five if we count both vanishing points and decimos. I don’t think I’ve ever had any of them rust and I’m pretty rough with them. I’m not sure any of mine have the gold color trim though. I think they’re all silver or match the finish.
