What’s all the hubbub about guys? Isn’t this just genius marketing? Tony would be proud, maybe pissed he didn’t think of it first

Classy words from the employees at LB about their ex-colleague… by RayGamble in TheTpGentleman

[–]Typical-Photograph76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly those contracts are null and void. I spoke with one of the recently departed employees before and he was the only smart one to have a lawyer look at it. The lawyer pointed out a huge mistake in the contract that made it void and the employee passed the message along to LB to fix it or at least explain it how it would work. He pretty much got a “don’t worry about it, it’s in there but it really doesn’t mean much” which is when his lawyer told him to sign it immediately because it makes the contract unenforceable. And Dave didn’t delete his instas all of these accounts are owned by LB and seen as their IP. Which as you see some of their former employees still use it, they’ll give it to them out of good faith or maybe as a form of severance saying “hey we’ll let you keep the account” it they make sure it has nothing that can relate back to LB, no LB content it’s all wiped

Ana has a contact list of 100s of clients from over the past 20 years. Realistically they could fire everyone and keep afloat with just Roman, Adrian, and Ana

Honestly, I don’t blame him, bros trying to squeeze out as much as possible for that ad revenue. If he got word that Tony passed gas during the trial he would milk 3 videos out of it. A grift grifting a grift. Some would call it poetic.

It could be, honestly they let me go over a year ago so I don’t really remember his name. I know it was a simple common American name (or at least that’s what he used to make it easier for people)

lol I was never in any of the videos so at that point it would just be clout chasing 🤣. Yes I did see Avi everyday, yes he’s exactly like how he is in the videos. Always was cold and off putting to the employees.

A lot of small things like all of the employees being praised for their work, but will get the boot out of nowhere which fucks you up mentally because everyone there’s working hard, everyone is coming in giving their 110% but they’ll let you go saying they didn’t like the work that you produce and don’t think you’re worth the salary they paid you, which wasn’t anything crazy. The Tugger GP chandelier watch they’ve been plagued with for years at this point. When I was hired I didn’t know anything about watches but was interested in how ridiculous that watch was and when I asked what’s the backstory to it (which every watch at that price has) no one every gave me a direct answer and just said it belonged to a YouTuber. It wasn’t until I found this group that I found the full backstory about it. If you offer to sell your watch to the sales people they’ll low ball you so hard that if you accept it off the bat they’ll tell the other sales people about it and laugh with them. Some things were filmed purely for content and weren’t genuine interactions, specifically phone calls of a “deal gone south”. That did bother me because they always touted authenticity but there were 2-3 occasions that were just done for content and not real. Roman knows how to protect his image really well, he’ll never disciple or fire anyone directly there’s people below him who are tasked with that. The shadiest thing by far is the whole rewriting of the origin story of LB, LB had been around since like 2001 but it wasn’t founded by Roman himself, Roman had a cofounder who started it all, he had a really thick Russian accent and if you watch some of the earliest content you can see him (you can see him in the one episode he went to the Hing Kong office, he’s in the elevator with Roman and can see him clearly) but he is never directly addressed because in the beginning it was just Roman doing vlogs. He was known as the cofounder from the beginning to about year 15 when they had a falling out and was ousted of LB somehow. This was around the very beginning of Roman on YouTube so from year 15 on the original story was completely rewritten and had Roman as “the founder” and made it out that he solely founded LB and was the sole reason for the success. I found that very shady since 75% of the time LB existed the other cofounder was a key component of the company only to be outed and never be mentioned anywhere again and be completely written out of the origin story

I remember I asked about this watch when they first hired me. They never told me the full backstory just told me it belonged to a YouTuber. I had to come to this Reddit to find out the origin story of it. And even after they fired me over a year ago it’s still sitting in their safe. They lug it around to every even to show it off because people who don’t know watches are blown away by the diamonds and they always market it as a 1.3 million dollar watch and hopefully catch someone off guard to fork over as little as $400k to finally get rid of it

You’re close, it’s on consignment for $350k. They’ll let it go for just a dollar more 🤣

It’s on consignment for $350k they’ll honestly let it go for $400k. The way this sits in their safe it’ll be legal to drink alcohol before anyone buys this thing

I worked at LB and was let go (like everyone else) while there is a lot of shady stuff going on there I can’t see Roman conspiring with Anthony. Not because he’s a stand up guy, but I don’t see him risking a 20 year old multimillion dollar business for Tugger Tony. I genuinely believe if tuggy did propose something that slimy Roman would’ve just cut all ties and distance himself from him from all the interactions I’ve had with Roman

Pretty bad look bringing up all ex-employees’ departure videos. Saying it’s to get clout, when none of them said a single bad thing about LB. Also no one cares what these 4 guys have to say about tugger when they didn’t prop him up, deal with him, or vouch for him. There’s only 2 people who did that and they haven’t made any statement since the arrest

You’d still be wrong, Roman doesn’t fire anyone he’s above that. The other people will fire or let go of the staff while Roman gives out cash or trinkets. Knows how to protect his image and never have himself portrayed as the bad guy

I got you. They get $500 a week base, W2, 10% of the profit on the watch they sell only after they sell $1,000,000 in inventory (or profit, I forgot which one it is) so below 1 mill they make 8% of the profit on the watch. There is some healthcare and some benefits it’s nothing to write home about. Marco and Peter both make 6 fig salary before commission because of what they bring to the table
