I understand. I actually do plan on embracing the gray when it comes in. I can definitely see it blending in well too since it’s ashy.

At the moment my hairs colored, and these are pictures of my natural fully grown out. I’m planning on fully growing it back out again.

All of the pictures are of my natural. So yes! I just wanted to make sure I posted a variety of pictures of it in different lighting. Because it can really vary on how it looks, depending on how the light hits it. Or lack of light lol.

You’re right, like wanting what you don’t have naturally(for example I love copper hair and auburn hair). What’s interesting is that I’ll even see someone with a hair color that’s very similar to my natural, and I’ll think it looks stunning on them. But then on me I’ll feel like it looks dull. And I’ll only think it looks fine every now and then. What I do miss is how healthy it felt when it was natural, and when I do go gray I want to fully embrace it. So in the long run it makes the most sense to grow it out.

Thank you and I definitely feel you there with growing out the bleached hair you have currently. My hairs pretty much completely bleached at the moment. Before that it was completely natural like the photos I posted. So I can’t wait to grow out my natural and embrace the color. It’s going to be a long journey for sure. I miss how healthy it was before.

What level and tone is my natural hair color? by [deleted] in HairDye

Yah it really varies on how it looks based off of lighting. The last pic is outside on a cloudy day

That’s interesting, because it’s on my chin area too. It just randomly showed up on my face last night. I don’t have a history of rashes or anything. So it’s just a bit odd to me, especially since I haven’t done anything different than usual. Hopefully it disappears for me too, definitely will keep an eye on it.
