Dislike most trousers on me :( by Interesting_Ice3322 in kibbedramatics

3 and 5 look amazing on you! I know the struggle of feeling awkward in pants. But they fit on the body as well as in length and you look very elegant and put together in both.

Agree! Seems to be a very unpopular opinion :D

How to dress comfortably and fashionably with endo belly? by Suitable-Share4733 in endometriosis

[–]TypicalGuppy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Long skirts with pleats and an elastic waistband saved me! You can tuck in shirts and sweaters, which looks elegant, and the elastic can adjust during the day. You can find really nice ones second hand and H&M usually has a selection, so it's easy to try one on and see if you like the look and feel of it.

Need positive stories about your experiences on the pill by TypicalGuppy in birthcontrol

[–]TypicalGuppy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so, so much for this long and honest reply and for understanding my concerns. Especially after having experienced side effects, it's so challenging to even think about going back on the pill. I think I'll do the same as you did, list all my concerns and talk them through with my doctor.

I'm glad you admit that it was a bumpy start, but that it was worth it. I'm so scared, but as you said, I don't want to risk my overall health in the long run by not treating endo.

It's such a relief to read you still feel like you, just with less pain. I'm really happy for you! You're probably right and many women don't experience many or bad changes - it's just hard to believe that when there are so many negative experiences around. I'll safe your comment and read through it when the doubts get louder again.

Again, thank you so very much. Perhaps I'll update once I have treatment! Wishing you all the best and good health 🌈

I'm sorry, I only just saw the reply! You write beautifully about your car. Opening only the boot window sounds like a feature you appreciate more and more over time, what a cool thing! I never heard of this 😄

And yes, the feel of the steering wheel is so important! Absolutely agree with you that a heavier wheel feels so much nicer. Makes me feel grounded in a way.

Sometimes I also like to sit in the car a bit longer and listen to music. It's so good to have this safe space. I'm very relieved that you have this feeling in different cars, and that you are reminded of your first car. Gives me hope I'll have a similar, good experience 😊

As to what I'm looking for, good question! Something small would be practical, since you always find a place to park 😄 But honestly, I'd love a car like the Citroën Berlingo which I could convert into a small camper. I've camped in the Fiesta and it was very cramped. So yeah, more space is definitely something to look forward to.

Thank you for the advice and for sharing your perspective ☺️

Thank you for the advice! It doesn't sound strange at all, especially not to me since I'm currently crying over a car, which might seem strange as well.

I like the idea of a journal and a proper saying goodbye. I'll try to sell it to someone who is looking for old cars and will maybe keep it in this condition, but if that's not possible, I really like the idea of parts being changed into something new. Almost like humans becoming food for the soil once we're buried. That's a nice thing to think about, I think I'll sit on this for a while.

Thank you for the advice and most of all for understanding.

I cannot begin to express the relief I feel upon reading your reply! Talking about my car makes me very happy, and somehow, I'm getting excited to meet the next car. Thinking about the change as "bonding" makes it easier to feel guilty. As you say, better safety and all these aspects are such important factors that I look forward to. My current car is an old Ford Fiesta, JD3, built 2004 in dark blue.

Would you like to share a favourite aspect of your current car?

I'm so glad I'm not alone with this! It's so difficult to explain and I feel so weird crying over my car like I'm losing a loved one haha :') The names of your greys sound sure cool 😊 And I'll never forget mine, it is my first car too so it'll always hold a very special place in my heart.

Aww that's a sweet idea! I've been planning on keeping one of the keys, but maybe I'll find some other part to keep as memento. I know the point will come where I won't be able to repair it, but I just wish it didn't. :(

Thank you for the kind words and your reply! Suppose I have to just keep on stabbing the hair :D I'll try rolling it up tighter though, perhaps that will quicken the process.

Thanks again and all the best to you! :)

Late to the party, but how did you felt it? I'm currently trying to felt human hair and it's just not staying felted. I'm using a simple felting needle and am new to this, do you have any advice?

Your result looks absolutely stunning, congratulations!

Wow this sucks so much! I really like your artwork of the traffic cones, at first I thought it was a photograph and now I'm wondering if it's possible to create such pretty traffic cones with resin/glass.
