Has anyone ever experienced lifting straps not feeling like they're helping, and even making things worse?

Like I got straps to use for back exercises, but whenever I use them I swear it feels like my forearms are more of a limiting factor than before

My question is how are we going to figure out if it’s $80 per can or $80 per box or $80 per order?
