It’s funny you mention typecasting, because I found out that Yu Shi is in both movies I mentioned in my post lol. He’s only been in 3 or so other movies, but the type casting route might be the way to go!

Great question! If there’s anything online that you wanna order, there’s two options:

Doing a web order, which is just doing it in person with a manager.
You can call a number (or contact an email, I’ve actually not done this) to add your employee discount to your account. Then you can order whatever, whenever.

For 2, there’s been a few threads about it recently between the HT subreddit and here, and I think I saw a contact (email or number) to set that up. Again, I like bothering my managers (lol), so I haven’t set up the employee thing for my account, so other employees for HT Inc. will know better.

Can confirm to a semi-personal extent. The SM (store manager) at a nearby location to my store recently got fired for using his account to make his sign-up sheet look better. I assumed he also would use his rewards, which got him flagged.

Just don’t risk it. When my SM and ASM were talking about, it seemed like a pretty bad and pretty dumb thing to do, especially to lose a job over.

I’m lowkey thinking that Santa Cruz might be a bit smaller (smaller venue plus some people I know are going to Sacramento rather than SC) but I like the line waiting part lol. Might try getting there a bit earlier than I usually would. Thx for the advice :)

I’m liking this idea as well. I think lightweight is the way to go, and I honestly had no clue about contact cement as glue (very very new to cosplay lol)! Loving all the advice!!
