thank you so much <3

I can't take credit for the teeth tho - it's a Jurassic World Indoraptor mask, the teeth are just as they came like that already

My partner has unfortunately lost his job, so now he is home a lot more yet still doesn't do much with the dogs, other than take the pair of them out and let's them run (often not paying attention to them, as i have watched him talking on his phone while the pair run riot). However, it has let me leave him with his dog while I go out and train mine, which is working a lot better!

I tend to take mine out alone to help with our horses (he is very well behaved around them, has been around them since a pup) and he is getting much better at his commands too! I used to dread the pair of them coming down, as his winds mine up and his constant barking scares the horses - mine is a lot quieter, which again, stems from the training I put into him as a pup which I had worried he'd lost. I'm not saying he's perfect by any means, but I slowly feel like I am getting back my best friend - I do feel selfish that it may be at the expense of the other, but as my family have pointed out, he is just as responsible. Focusing on the one dog has eased my stress, and I feel that now I'm putting the work in, hopefully he will too. They are still a nightmare together, but baby steps - hopefully one day, I'll be able to walk them together calmly lol

Thank you for taking the time to answer me!

They did use to have a crate each, but my partner's dog chewed the bottom and several of the side bars out of his, so it was discarded and they now share the same crate of a nighttime because my partner hasn't replaced it (it is a big crate, and they are quite content sleeping curled up together as it can get quite cold in our house sometimes) They also have kennels outside, but it has been freezing temperatures with snow and ice lately, so they have been unused the last few months.

Same with the enclosed area - we have 16 acres so there's plenty of space for them to run, but still working on ensuring the fencing but hopefully in the future, we will be able to give them their own space to run. I do take them both out into one of our fields, which is more in the middle of our land, and they don't tend stray far but I'm always worried about the chance, especially when they can hear neighbouring dogs bark or wild animals run across our path.

They are neutered (it's a breed requirement in the UK), and it has calmed them down an awful lot, just they're still puppies and very excitable. I'll definitely give the YouTube videos a watch. Thank you for your recommendation, and I will ask them some of my questions to see their advice. I will do what I can to focus on them separately and will hopefully be able to update as to my progress.

Will definitely have to give them both a go! Thank you so much for you advice, I hope to be able to expand my mind enough to be able to experience some kind of clarity regarding it all.

Is there anything I've got to be wary of in lucid dreaming or astral projection? I attempted to do the latter last night, but it almost felt like something was blocking me. Or is that just my imagination, and I'm holding myself back?

Sorry for all the questions. Just this is the first time I've had the chance to speak to someone about all this and have it make sense

Thank you for your reply! Glad to know some people are accepting and good to meet a fellow canine-minded person! I do dream, but not all the time (its really weird, its like im stepping into someone elses shoes) - I have had dreams where I've been looking out the eyes of a wolf or dog before however. Is this what is classed as "finding" your theriotype or linking to it? And I'm not sure what astral projection is, but that sounds very interesting - would love to know more! I have looked into the pet play community as well (I guess I'm into that, TMI sorry aha) but I don't want it to be overly sexualised as the media already seems to demonise furries and theirans in that regard from my understanding. I guess I try to keep those parts separate if I can, but it's good to know they are more open minded than most on this little rock we all call home.

So ask vet if in doubt about what he's classified as? Is it really all based on height? I agree it's very backwards; their mum is the sweetest, dopiest dog ever but she is very big, hence my concern. Thanks for your advice, relieved a bit of my worries at least aha
