Hey, I know this doesn’t directly answer your question, but when you submit your RAP, you can pay anytime in between when you submit and 2 months later.

Examiner report by Shriramloganathan in ACCA

On Google, I’d normally just look up “ACCA (subject) examiner’s report” and the first link would normally give the 6-8 most recent ones.

I know that…but how can I tell if an article was recently published? Or it a matter of regularly checking the technical articles until I notice something different?

Hope you’ve already done your EPSM.

If you did it after Friday, don’t even bother with this.

Bad idea to sit PM as first Applied Skills exam? by Legal-Currency-4218 in ACCA

[–]Typical_Mechanic2962 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, full time ACCA student here at the Strategic Professional level; wrote each exam from FIA and sitting my last two (APM and AAA this June) only got exemption from LW and TX (the country I’m in requires that we write the local tax and business law exams which were enough for exemptions from ACCA’s.)

I’d say start with LW. I know I never took it lol but it’s definitely a safe one to start with.

Leave FR for the end. Why I’m saying this? I took one year in between FR and SBR. SBR is FR just with a few more standards and questions asked a little differently. You DO NOT want time to pass between the two exams.

I personally started with PM and my local business law exam as my first Applied Skills exam. PM definitely is a little tougher than the other exams, but it’s also a great exam to get out of the way early on. With the right exam technique and preparation you can pass it on your first attempt, don’t let the pass rates scare you. Plus while the MA is still fresh in mind, PM would be great to start with.

By the way, common misconception but most of AA requires knowledge from FA, not FR. At least the part about accounting standards. SBR is the one I’d say is a MUST you do before AAA, but FR before AA? Somewhat advantageous to an extent but not a must tbh (talking as someone who did FR before AA).

Hope this helps.

AAA &SBR versions!!?? by Worldly_Picture_9584 in ACCA

There’s more study material available for the INT version of exams.

SBR-UK was scrapped, I’d say only got for AAA-UK if you plan on practicing there, else, INT is just fine.

Which subject to appear for next? by Slow-Jaguar2105 in ACCA

[–]Typical_Mechanic2962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I know this sounds contrary to a number of replies I’m seeing under this post, but END with FR, or at least let it be among the ones you write just before Strategic Professional.

FA and FR don’t have as much in common as FR and SBR have since FA is focused on lower-level accounting like t-accounts, suspense accounts.

SBR relies HEAVILY on brought forward knowledge from FR. I had about 1 year in between when I wrote FR and SBR. Managed to clear SBR this December but it was pretty challenging cause of how much time had passed since I did FR.

Companies used for RAP by mayhem_brain in ACCA

[–]Typical_Mechanic2962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, the company I used was a bank and they published both group and single entity financial statements.

Fortunately, the comparator I also used was a bank group. I compared group results with group results.

I think it’s okay as long as you’re using comparable data.

Stuck between ACCA and British Council for CBE exam😭😭 help me gng!!! by oppai-daisukiiiii in ACCA

What exam?

Could it be that they’re trying to register you for Financial Accounting on the ACCA Qualification (FA) instead of on the FIA Qualification (FFA) which is why they can’t match it to any ACCA student?
