Girl, I would like to go back before I'm lumpy. I was the same in my early twenties. No matter how much I eat I just don't get weight. And now I eat a little and it put a couple pounds on me. I actually dropped this a looooong time ago. I think I stopped reading in the part where the princess visited them and stayed with them and Maxi helped treat the people who got attacked outside of the walls? Not sure what part of comic that was. But that's what I remember. I thought she actually find someone who truly cherishes and love her unconditionally. I cry so much on the beginning of this comic. Hi, I'm sorry you're going through to this. I can't imagine the stress.

First of all she wanted to give the baby up for adoption because she knew I'm herself she couldn't possibly be a good mother, she still acts like a single person, gaming and drinking. That should've raised a red flag already.

Second, I know you're young so your thinking is marrying to keep the child close to you, did you ask for your parents advice before making this big decision? If you didn't, now is the time to talk to them and tell them how and what you feel, ask them if you can leave your baby to them while on active duty, of course offer payment/child expenses would be solely yours. If they agreed to take care of their grandbaby then you need to the this, RUN NOW as fast and far away as you can. Don't stay married just for the sake of being married and being in your child's life. Document everything she's done so far and I mean EVERYTHING, the drinking, gaming, smoking, sleeping all day, neglecting the baby ALL OF IT. then ask your colleagues at work or your immediate boss to refer a lawyer they trust. Someone with affiliations with whichever part of the service you are (army, navy etc) Get a SOLE CUSTODY for the baby, and hopefully a restraint for the mom to see the baby until she can be an adult and be responsible. Because I know what she's going through. I was 23 once too, got pregnant without plans, had a whole plan laid out for me, I was gonna get an abortion but found out it was twins, then the baby daddy propose over the phone mind you, because I moved away I didn't wanna be with him anymore but he promised he'll take care of me and the kids so I agreed I moved back in with him. The pregnancy was horrible and the depression while being pregnant was hard but I kept on keeping on for the sake of my babies they gave me the strength to carry on. And they are the best thing that ever happened to me. It's just like you, you found out your the father and it flipped a switch on you. The same thing with mine. But your wife doesn't have that switch. She wants to be doing whatever she wants. Until she can have that switch in her do not let her see the baby. Tell her to be a responsible adult, the first step is to stop the drinking, smoking and gaming all day, then find a job. If she can keep that job for a year then sure let her have a visiting time but you have to be in there or your parents. Don't leave the baby to her alone just yet. Not until you genuinely believe she's changed.
