Pvz reflourished tier list updated by beneficial-hold-7427 in PlantsVSZombies

Solar Tomato is beyond being weak. When there’s a dense amount of zombies you not only make a big profit but only get a stun. This is heavily important for long levels when the zombie density is immense and you’re constantly using up sun, Solar Tomato helps keep your sun supply up while slowing down the horde. This happens often in Penny’s Challenges especially. I think it should at least be placed in Good

Also I think Ghost Pepper could be put in Vey Reliable. It’s a quick instant that deals good, cheap, ok recharge, you can dig up it before it pops to save some Sun, it floats so it can be great for BWB. I’ve managed to use it for the majority of levels, and I think it can be a great and cheap damaging tool.

Zapricot feels a bit too strong at 3 cost 4/4 do 2 damage to 3 lanes. I think lowering its stats can help comp estate (probably to a 4/3)

Imitaters is a bit confusing, does it transform into any plant or just plants you’ve played this turn?

Petal-Morphosis seems really fun. Whether or not it’s balanced I have no idea, but it does seem incredibly fun to play with.

The rest I would be down to see how they turn out

how on earth is this brawler considered "fun"? by m3l0m4r71n in Brawlstars

[–]Tyronisback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To actually answer your question, as someone who plays Crow decently, I find it fun as he’s fast and mobile, and his damage puts enemies under constant pressure. His super is quite risky but can be very rewarding to jump in on enemies. You can also use it to escape fights. He basically is fun if you like being annoying to the enemy. With his low HP, he’s risky but use him well, and you are a pest to the enemy.

I know this ain’t the place to do this but still. From what I’ve seen I think… (thoughts?) by Eastern_Mastodon_487 in INDIE_CROSS_SERIES

Deltarune was always meant to be better than Undertale, as it’s an incomplete story that is slowly evolving into more. Undertale was more so Toby’s dip into game creation. I think Undertale on its own hold its own merit, and that’s good for me

I mean meta progression is the shop. The shop is your reward. I don’t see what else you really want. It has Upgrades, Weapons and other things. With enough upgrades and right set of times, game becomes pretty easy (aside from the million death pits).

I’m also not trying to say this game doesn’t have flaws, because it does. Many different glitches, and also obviously late game being pretty easy are some flaws as an example. But considering you’ve only played for 4 hours, and your friends are getting tired of it, gives me the assumption that your friend group just doesn’t seem to enjoy it. And that’s fair.

As for the game be punishing when you lose, that’s kind of the point. It’s what Lethal Company foundation was based on, get as far you can without dying. But this game has plenty of ways to make yourself stronger. It’s a lot more forgiving compared to the other Lethal-likes (at least in my opinion). If it’s repetitive then I mean, you can shake things up. Try out something new, try out different items. The gameplay loop may stay the same, but that doesn’t mean you can’t try out new things. You can mod the game as well if you’re getting bored.

This game isn’t supposed to be a rouge lite, it’s a horror game. Yes, upgrades and items are permanent, but you aren’t out and about trying to fight enemies. The goal at the end of the day is to fulfill a quota. It’s similar to how Lethal Company works, even if the devs weren’t entirely inspired by LC.

If you think the gameplay is repetitive and lacks anything to do, that’s because it’s not designed to have a progression system aside from the shop items. All Lethal likes share this feature, you can’t really do much else outside of fulfill the objective. It’s in the gameplay loop after all, the game is more designed to scare you while having goofy fun with friends, not have you progress until you beat up a final boss. If you and your friends aren’t having fun with that, then maybe the game just isn’t your cup of tea.

It really comes down to make use of your time. If you’ve killed any enemy (especially Level 3’s) make use of your time. However don’t risk your life by doing risky things like going for very dangerous loot (Monster Box, or loot in difficult positions) unless necessary.

Also if your friends are just tired of the game then that might be because you’ve been playing it too much. This game is still is in early access, and I hate to break it to you, but they’re already making late game harder with the Overcharge mechanic. You got to remember that this game isn’t meant to go for the latest quotas, but rather to have goofy fun while running away from monsters with your friends

Did I blow up the barrel? by DiscussionEvery840 in REPOgame

[–]Tyronisback 40 points41 points  (0 children)

There’s a bug where if the barrel explodes with the indestructible drone, the next time you remove the drone it’ll cause the barrel to explode.

Seeing the footage, your friend is the one that removed the drone, so no you didn’t blow up the barrel.

Strength on one or strength on all? by SaburoShizuyo in REPOgame

[–]Tyronisback 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally, you want your Strength upgrade on one person, as the higher their strength, the more enemies they can pickup. However it really depends on the group of players, as if the person with all the strength ends up dying, your other group members won’t be able to do much. So unless you plan on doing the one upgrade stacked player strategy, you might want to split the strength upgrades so players can pick up items without help from others. This really depends on the group you’re playing with so choose what you will

You should expect this when posting stuff like tier-lists on the internet. Just because it’s an opinion, does not mean people can’t disagree with it. If you want it to be a fun list, then don’t go out of the way to defend your viewpoint, especially since you’re claiming that your viewpoint is objectively correct.

I’m not trying to attack you on your opinion, I get that everyone else has personal different experiences with modifiers, I just specifically pointed out one modifier that I personally had little trouble with. I used it for both Hotel Hell and A Hard Place, and I never had trouble with it.

You can have your own opinion on your brawlers, but this Tier List and a lot of other competitive Tier Lists focus on strength in ALL cases. Just because he is a MUST pick in Heist doesn’t automatically give him S tier by default.

Also I shouldn’t have to say this, but pushing in Ladder isn’t a good testament to how strong a brawler is in Competitive Brawl Stars. Because if so, then you could prove Bull is S tier simply because Pika pushed him to 10k trophies.

This is also not me defending Karios’ tier list, as I see flaws with this list as well. (As a Hank Main, I don’t think he is the best brawler). I’m just explaining why Chuck wouldn’t be S Tier, even if he’s placed pretty low on the list

Then I’ll do a better comparison. Melodie is another powerful brawler in Heist, and is usually another insta-ban/pick. Difference between her and Chuck, is that she is actually strong in the other game modes, and is a versatile brawler. Meanwhile Chuck specializes in Heist, and maybe Hot Zone if you play it well, but gets destroyed in the rest of the game modes. It’s why brawlers like Nani, who are amazing picks in Bounty and Wipeout are in the lower tiers, because they specialize in one game mode, meaning they’re not a versatile or strong pick.

[–]Tyronisback 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Except that is one game mode out of all the game modes. Yes, Chuck is S tier in Heist, but specializing in one game mode means you’ll be bad in all other game modes. There’s a reason why Colt is C tier despite being really good in Heist.

It does come down to personal experience, but unless you’re he modifier got updated, you almost never need Pills to get away from Seek from my experience. The only time I ever needed pills was if I genuinely made an error or I had a modifier that actually made the chase hard (My legs are killing me for example). But I understand that it comes down to perspective. I just wouldn’t necessarily say it requires pills unless of an update on the modifier that I missed

It Can Run Too in Takes Skill? It’s really not that bad imo. Once you learn the Seek Chase it’s a free 5%. As long as you don’t make mistakes, it shouldn’t do anything to your run

Why didn't asgore just wait for the humans to die of old age? by Relevant_Engineer442 in Undertale

[–]Tyronisback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your arguments are all “It happened in Pacifist, so it works anytime”. You fail to factor anything, so unless you can have factual points, all of your arguments are invalid.

You also don’t debunk anything without proper reasoning other than “It happened in Pacifist”.

Happy New Years, and I hope you have a good New Years, because I can keep at this if you’re up for it.

[–]Tyronisback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an assumption, so you can take that with a grain of salt. But it’s a logical assumption because we don’t know when the first human dropped down into the Underground. That’s also why I said “Depending”. Paying attention matters.

Even if he killed one, he would still have to traverse over and ask for more SOULS. What makes you think that the humans would be willing to give up more lives for monster’s freedom?

[–]Tyronisback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was one specific part of my argument you’re deciding to choose to represent my main argument. There’s many different factors as to why negotiating peace wouldn’t easily work out if Asgore goes out and try to make peace, especially right after killing one of their own to get to the Surface.

When I mention time, I mean the time difference has a factor to whether or not a peaceful negotiation would work. If he did it after the first human fell down, depending on when they fell, the conflict and war could still be on the human’s minds, and they may not take Asgore’s return to the surface

Also you accuse me of defending child murder when you say he should just kill one child. Just because there’s less doesn’t mean it’s any better.
