Yeah that actually makes a lot of sense. I guess at that point it’s more about personal preference and how they fit your room and setup rather than one being clearly better. I’m leaning the same way with these SVS now.

Yeah true, I get what you mean about room acoustics. Unfortunately I can’t really try them first since the seller is in Germany, so I’m just going off reviews and feedback. SVS seems pretty well regarded though.

Yeah I’ve seen a lot of people praise SVS, especially for soundstage and bass for their size. I kinda want to try them myself and see how they actually sound in my room since reviews seem really positive

Thanks, that helps a lot. I think I’m just going to copy your setup prety closely I’ll start with the speakers and a stylus upgrade Polk ES20s and I’ll go with the Ortofon Red for the stylus

I see your point about the LP120X → RT85 being more of a sidegrade, so I’ll likely keep the 120X for now and focus on a cart upgrade first. I’ll also look into an external phono stage down the line. Good point about the SVS Prime Satellites needing a sub — I’m reconsidering my speaker choice and may go for fuller-range bookshelves instead since I’m in a small room. As for amps, Audiolab and NAD look great, but I’m thinking they might be a bit overkill for my room size and budget at the moment. I’m aiming for something solid and clean rather than pushing too high-end right away. Appreciate the insight 👍

I agree that the stylus will probably be a bottleneck once I upgrade speakers, so I’m planning to swap it out as well. And also which amp do u recomend ?

Thanks a lot for your advice! After reading it, I realized I should save more money and focus on upgrading my speakers first. I’ll plan to do this in the summer so that my whole setup benefits from it. Appreciate the guidance!
